Though the senile wretched old dictator delayed his trip to china (to enjoy the Olympics and meet his bachongra), hes also crumbling under pressure. He has now begun to reinstate some judges to appease Zardari. He has also started meeting his beloved bicycle commander Chaudhry Pervez Elahi again, in hopes to dash the impeachment measures, if initiated.
In the wake of coalition leaders’ last ditch efforts to join hands for much delayed restoration of the deposed judges as well as weighing option of the President’s impeachment, General (r) Pervez Musharraf on Wednesday reorganized his defense mechanism. In the first place, President Musharraf met with his political allies predominately led by Pakistan Muslim League (Q) and assigned them to defeat the move of impeachment when it comes to the Parliament.
This and other preemptive measures required the President to postpone his visit to China. Official sources in addition to the Foreign Office have now confirmed that the President would be leaving for China under a rescheduled itinerary starting from Thursday instead of Wednesday. Still, on-the-record as well as off the record assertions by the officials were lacking certainty.
According to the sources, the President’s legal as well as political confidants had advised him to start approving, immediate, reinstatement of the depose judges of the Provincial High Courts. In this move meant to appease of the sentiment and defuse the hype of Zardari-Nawaz meeting, the Presidential camp selected the Sindh Province to start with.
In this regard, the sources said, Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad rushed to Islamabad Wednesday evening to get approval of the President for a summary proposal regarding restoration of the deposed judges of the High Court after their fresh oath. The news of such a notification by the Sindh Law Department, consequent upon President’s approval to the summary proposal by Governor Sindh, nearly scuttled the then ongoing dialogue process between leaders of the two leading coalition parties.
Rechecking with the Presidency, Federal Law Ministry and Provincial Law Department Sindh sources revealed that no notification for reinstatement of the Sindh High Court’s deposed judges was issued till filing of this report.
However, sources were unable to rule out issuance of the much talked about notification anytime. Some media sources were claiming that the deposed judges of the Sindh High Court would take a fresh oath under the imminent notification Thursday afternoon. No quarter, however, could confirm this assertion.
Earlier the sources told The Nation that the plan the Presidency Wednesday evening finalized was to proceed on gradual reinstatement of the High Court judges, first starting from Sindh. Similar reinstatement exercise would be carried out in Balochistan, NWFP and Punjab followed by similar action at the Supreme Court level.
^ canceling the china trip, consulting allies (who are hardly powerful), agreeing to restore judges in a desperate move to makhnify Zardari, *does seem so... *
Lets see if he starts crying and calls his masters this time (like he did last time), and goes to Karachi and asks Mustafa racist Kamaal (sub-don of karachi) to hold a dinner where he can sip on scotch and feel good about the paid gathering that praises him artificially.
I don't think anything will work for him now. Best way is to announce his resignation and leave the office with dignity rather than booted out by coalition. He should set the example of leaving the highest office with respect.
Musharraf should call his son Bilal and his brother the Chicago Doctor and try to inquire about what car to buy, what TV and music system to buy in his US house. The US economy is bad but I'm sure Uncle Bush will personally be a guarantor for a generous "loan" for Musharraf with the same repayment terms that Chaudhry brothers get in Pakistan.
Maybe some university or "think tank" will offer a seat for Musharraf. Bilal is in Boston but I don't see Harvard dissing the Bhutto clan by taking Musharraf. I think the University of Chicago is a good fit because a lot of "advisors" for US puppet Latin American Dictators are from U.Chicago.
Plus, U.Chicago has a good Urdu studies program and Musharraf can finally learn the language to be able to speak above the level of a chowkidaar language.

He would be replaced by an actual Chowkidaar, Mr. Nawaz Bulbula Shareef.
Musharraf (even with his thick accent) communicated very well in english.
Oh yeah, especially when he said “We have neglected culture in favour of agriculture,”
or
Each and every individual Pakistani was in favour of his winning, each and every one. I don’t think there could be a single Pakistani who was against him

p.s. ley aya na phir nawaz shareef ko thread mey? should i now bring in the altaf bhai’s chichorapan in the thread too?
Great President Musharaf is indeed the Greatest Pakistani Leader since Quaid-e-Azam. The Unprecedented Economic Growth and the Unprecedented amount of Foreign Reserves inherited my the current government are a testament to that.
If this imbecile president continues, there will be no Pakistan left.
Spock bhaijan. Which country are you referring to? It can't be Pakistan you are talking about. If you are, why do you believe that? Can you please elaborate? :)
Lets just forget the fact that hes pretty much let go of the Kashmir issue, and sank us to the extent that the mayor of Kabul is threatening to whoop us. Our sovereignty no longer existss, jis ka dil kya missile gira diya Pakistan ke ander, while he hops and sells his pathetic book.
Multiple internal warfronts, civil war, chaos, with insurgencies in Baluchistan, Pak army getting pounded in NWFP, Karachi's sub-don ethnic racist mayor issuing threats of changing geographies. This is all his doing. In the late 60s, thanks to another dictatorship we had one province developing problems and ultimately parting ways with us soon after. Like Ahmed Faraz said, this dictator is going for 2-3 in one go.
Nawazoo and Zardari are going to kill their goose that is laying golden eggs for them. Once he is gone, they will have no one else to blame for all the problems they are creating for the country and have no idea to get out from. They are much better off keeping this drama going on for the next year or so. Once US has done what it needs to do in FATA, Mush can go and then the two can continue to plunder what is left of the land for years to come as per the charter of democracy.
I hope Mush resigns, waits a couple of years to see the country go to the brink of economic disaster and then announces to be head of Q League. I am sure he will win after the antics of these idiots in power.
