^ Unfortunately the selection/election of President is done by the Parliament itself and not the people of Pakistan who cast their votes.

Let us hope to see someone who is loyal to the country and to its people !!!

Do you remember young innocent Talibat of Lal Masjid whom he burnt alive.
Do you remember his behavior with CJ.
What he did with Afia and thousands others.
You can forgive him but I can not.

I think be rational here. Mr. 10% was only responsible if he was for 10% of commissions he got from the deals in the past. He was jailed for more than 10 years which is unlikely for any other politicians or dictator, which I think desereved more severe punishments than him. I have already opened a thread about his current working as President. Keeping in view the limitations and pressures he is facing, I think he is still in the passing grades.:D

Agreed! But we are idiots and there is no doubt in that. We brought corrupt benazir and incompetent nawaz sharif twice...and then when we knew that after benazir's death, peoples party is nothinig but a group of zardari lovers, still voted for them. So I would not be surprised if in a couple of years we would be seeing musharraf taking oath again in any capacity.

Its Pakistani politics, anything is possible here!

Yeah I cannot forgive him for killing Bugti, starting the so called war and terror, and issuing NRO according to a deal with Benazir!

Yeah you are right, Musharraf might return to power someday, due to the mis governance of our beloved governments! the performance of the current governments is emboldening musharraf and the previous rulers.
