Things were only better for couple years when he wasn't hungry for power. After couple years he started creating a mess in Pakistan just to save his kursi. Under his presidency Pakistan for the first time had a majority of Mullahs in NA. His failed policies of last year are the reason of high inflation in the country at this time.

nobodys perfect..but hes wayyyyyy better than those looters..i actually started takin interest in politics after he came on da scene...like i used to wonder y ppl even bother abt diz borin stuff..all the cultural change he brought,freedom,so many multinational companies comin here,change in general attitudes..thanks to musharraf..we dun wanna live in a narrowminded society that breeds terrorism n talibanization n mullas who have no knowledge of islam..n madrasas that teach suicide bombings n kidnapping ..thats wht hes fightin for ...yes hes ambitious n he should be...who doesnt love power ..i love power too!

Suppose if he is impeached on coming monday 11th aug then it will be a perfect birthday gift for him.and also think about the scenario if he really has the support of armed forces then pakistan can have another coup before 14th aug.

With the tarnished image that the Pak Army has developed thanks to Musharraf's incompetence, I doubt they'd be imposing coups anytime soon.

it may have gotten from bad to worse since 80s and 90s were no picnic either but I dont think there was any time in pakistan that it was peaceful really
