haha thats interesting.. he breaks constitution twice, cases for murder of BB and Bugti, Lala Masjid Case but he gets bail and when it comes to Judges’ confinement case he gets arrest order - justice starts from home :slight_smile:

IHC orders Musharraf

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday dismissed former president Gen. (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf interim bail extension plea and ordered his arrest in judges’ confinement, Geo News reported.

Pervaiz Musharraf appeared before the IHC today (Thursday) to seek an extension in his bail in the judges’ confinement case, however, the court dismissed his plea and ordered his arrest.

The former president immediately left the court premises, driving away in a convoy escorted by his bodyguards to an unknown location.

Massive security accompanied former leader Pervaiz Musharraf as he appeared in court.

In the previous hearing, IHC had extended the interim bail of former president General (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf till April 18.

I had posted this joke in Humour section, Gupshup few days back but its seems here is the right place seeing today's judiary response..

                                                             **   Contempt of Court**

In a trial, a small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, an elderly woman in the stand.

He approached her and asked; "Mrs. Jones, do you know me?"

She responded, "Why, yes, I do know you, Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a young boy, and frankly, you're a big disappointment to me.. You lie, cheat on your wife, manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you never will amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you.."

The lawyer was stunned ! Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, "Mrs. Jones, do you know the defense attorney (the opponent's lawyer)?"

She again replied, "Why, yes, I do, I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster. He's lazy, bigoted and has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone and his law practice is one of the worst in the state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women. One of them was your wife. ..Yes I know him."

The defense attorney almost died. The judge asked both lawyers to approach the bench and in a quiet voice said: "If either of you asks her if she knows me, I'll send you to jail for contempt of court !!

someone explain something to me.....

when he was standing there in court and his plea was dismissed and arrest orders issued......shouldn't someone have taken him into custody right then and there?
how was he allowed to leave?

perhaps I don't understand how the system works.....someone enlighten me......

Where has Mushy got so much money from, he has countless bodyguards and cars.

Who is funding Mr Mushy?

If they really want to arrest him then they have to just call his govt provided security (govt employees) and ask them where is he or ask him to bring back to court.

BTW TOI reports that he is at his home.

He indeed is Running for President. :D in a wrong way though.

That is incorrect, last “disqualification” was result of PTI complaint against Mushy :chai:
