Re: Murky politics hang over Bilawal’s entry into arena
All is not well in kpk, but I don't think its fair to compare to kpk with Punjab and Sindh. We know the situation the province is in due to its location and the wars going on there and its surrounds for the past decade . Kpk govt is 16 months old, and for how many years the ones ruling in Punjab and Sindh I do not want to comment. Previous tenure federal plus Sindh govt and now federal plus Punjab govt.
Re: Murky politics hang over Bilawal’s entry into arena
One would have expected to see the 'experienced' parties performing much better than they are at the moment. The situation in kpk is far from ideal but we can see them trying to improve departments of police, health and education.
Re: Murky politics hang over Bilawal’s entry into arena
^ PPP needs to perform in Sindh, which is the crux of most articles I have posted here.
I agree. But Zardari is in charge.
He is a low level crook, not a visionary statesman like the Bhutto's.
I think Bilawal will realise this when they the same election results are repeated. As I said it will take 10-20 years of politican skill from Biliawal for PPP to come back nationally.
Until then, people like me, and millions of other won't vote.
Pti also needs to show governance in KP, the next election is in 4 years, and the Sharif's will inititate projects that will pay off in this time. They will come out fighting.

i am not a KPK expert...so let me ask you something and believe me my tone is not confrontational. I legitimately want to know.
if KPK is such a troubled province, do you think kahatak was the best guy to be appointed? i mean i always feel that PTI needed a much stronger personality in KPK considering this was PTI's first governance experience
Re: Murky politics hang over Bilawal’s entry into arena
My advise, personal comments like these do nothing to advance debates. Jiyalas are very much part of Pakistan whether we like them or not.
Pti supporters are the most immature and intolerant people I gave seen, apart from the MQM. They never consider any of the corrupt people in their party to be anything but angels.
To them, Imran Khan is more important than Pakistan.
If Khan becomes PM in next election, that is fine - that is democracy, but the important thing is his current attack on democracy has failed, and he has been exposed as a power hungry fraud. Only his brainwashed and blinded followers fail to see they are following the latest politician fraud.
4 years is a long time, we will see what happens then.

People are talking about PML-N govt performance/failures in last 16 months - why can't they discuss KP govt failure's in last 16 months?

If you ask my first reaction, khattak was not the right person. He is from the same class which Pti is agitating against, the rest of their members were mostly new. No experience of governing.

Nopes, 7th straight year in Punjab and 16 months Punjab plus federal which we chose to ignore. Plus Punjab is not located next to fata which in on war for a decade.

This shows the hyopcrisy of Pti. Supporting Imram for his stand against corrupt politicians, while supporting Imran working with Sheik Rashid, Ch. Shujaat, etc.
Brainwashed people who believes Khan is an angel who doesn't get involved in any corrupt deals.

Well you have to admit, a lot of development work took place in Punjab under Shabaz Sharif's terms in office.
It is nothing but height of baleful ignorance and desperation to compare, Pakistan’s historically and naturally most prosperous and stable province, with other smaller, yet most troubled provinces only to save Sharif family’s ass. Punjab has always done fairly or comparatively well under all kinds of governments. The Chaudary brothers didn’t exactly leave the province as some desolate and barren land, interesting developments took place under their administration as well. However, we are yet to find out how many billions were wasted on signature Sharif family publicity stunts like Peeli Taxi, Sasti Roti and Laptop scheme, and what exactly did these fraud schemes do for the people.

I was not a fan of chaudharies (being an PMLN supporter) but under them the infrastructure development was more equitable, free schooling, books and stipends for poor children, free medicines in government hospitals, many new universities were opened, 1122, traffic wardens, Pakistan industrial estate project and local government system. Sharifs have made one motorway (the other Lahore faisalabad was completed during this period), metro bus and some roads in big urban centers. Before chaudharies they had only developed Lahore and had started work on faisalabad.
