aboo amee loves each other aur her waqat aik dosaray kay saath juray rahtay hain. baaas dafa tu hamain sharam bhi aanay lagti hai. Anyway they are happy.Masla yeh hai keh woh aik doosaray ka naaam leena nahin chahatay.
Aik doosaray ko bolaian gay tu munay kay aboo ya munay ki amee.halan kah munay mian tu ab munay nahin rahay.
hUM nay un ko bataya keh naam lay ker pukara kerain

kia aap ki family main bhi aisay hi husband ka ya biwi ka naam nahi latay
ya aap ka rista daroon doostoon main

haha, its exactly the same in our family :D im not really sure why... dad does call mom's name sometimes but mom never call my dad's name, i guess it might be bcuz of respect reasons.

My mom never says my dad's name - she says "sunein"

My dad says my mom's name all the time

i think the more younger couples call out each other by names..

My mom always says “Daddy ko kaho” ( coz we refer to him as daddy) :rotfl:

my mom sometimes go like "mein keya" and then whatever she wanna say.

My mom sometimes says his name, or sometimes she says his last name and adds "sahib" to it. So for example, _____ Saab, meri gal sunno.

But mostly it's "tumhary abu"

my mom calls my dad sheikh sahab :)my mil calls my fil by name.it depends i think but mostly newer generations call each others name now even by nicks given to each other by the spouse only.still i met a couple few days ago where the girl was very young but calling her husband "doctor sahab"

nopes.. my parents use each others names and its halarious cus everyone in our circle repeats the way they call each other :) love it

My Abbu call ammi by her name but ammi always call him "Suneen". My wife and I both take names of each other and sometimes go to "tUU tarakh" also :)

One of my Khala always refer to Khaloo as "innn k abba" (innn: my cousins) For example

Me: Khala yee chips kaun laya tha? very tasty
Khala: innn k aaba laeey theey from xyz bakery

PS: Khala has never replied to my question that which name she used to call Khaloo with before the birth of "innnnns"

lol - ye my mom never calls my dad with his name. If she is talking to my aunt about my dad - she would say "aapke bhai" - lol - it's so hilarious! If my mom has to call my dad, she says "suniee"

My hubby and I always call each other by name.

^Actually, I would die, if I could not call my hubby with his name. I call him about a million times a day. Imagine saying "suniee" a million times -lol -What if he says, "nahi sun na"... then I would have to say again, "par suniee", - lol - "suniee tou",

my mom hardly ever call him by his name, she uses "sunaein" and when ever she's talking to some one else and need to refer to my dad she says "yeh jo hein...."

and my father usually use " baie, zara baat suno" :)

kissi kay husband ka naam Raham Tullah tha jab woh namaz pertain tu kehtain

aslamu aliakum munay kay abaa instead of aslamu aliakum wa rahamtullah

my ammi use to call my abbu,“shah jee” and he calls her by saying “begum” :slight_smile:

i also dont call my husband by name. i say" baat sunein".. and i find it quite strange that my husband never called me by name aswell. he use to say" yar baat sunana" ya “baat suno”:cb:

now my husbands sister in law calls her husband the chotay kay abu and she is like 20 and i call mine by his name. he calls me fatty or my royal largeness and only in an argument when im not listenin to him he calls me my name or when were around ppl.

its weird how some women dont call their husbands by their name. think its more older generations

I call my hubby Pyaroo and he calls me Pyaro, mostly when we are at home, but it is such a reflex now that we say these to each other even when in someone else's company.
