One of my colleague said that he heard from someone (probably he wanted to say a hadees), ‘jis ke janaze ko jitne kandhe mile, uske gunah utne kam hote hain’. I said ‘log to Zia ul Haq ke janaze main bhi biht the, aur Zardari mare ga tab bhi boht log honge uske janaze main’.

There was a huge turnout for Bal Thackeray and Milošević funerals too!?!?!

Its an overall mentality. Yesterday, I asked my friend at office that aaj 2 treat bunti hain… One about Qadri and one about Sharmeen. A colleague came and say ‘phansi nahin chaRhate, umr qaid de dete. aakhiar namoos e risalat ka mamla tha.. hamari buniyad hai namoos e risaalat’. My friend said ‘Be very careful for demanding any treat. This is not one guy. There are many’. Till evening, I found that most of people were not appreciating Qadri’s execution and were coming with statements like ‘hamen kia pata ke kon sahi hai. Qayamat ke din kia munh dikhaen ge agar wo sahi nikla and all that.’. One of my assistant said ‘aap bhi samaoson ki treat mangne se phele soch lo. Kuch logon ko unki saza duniya main milti hai’. I said ‘haan mil rahi hai na, tumhare jaisa assistant paa kar’.

Then came another group ‘Sharmeen ko Oscar de dia. Edhi ko kiyun nahin dia’. I was ‘O mere bhai, Edhi konsi movies banata hai?’. They were ‘Nobel to bunta hai’. I was ‘Malala ko mile to you people say its conspiracy against Islam and Pakistan and then you are vying same for great person like Edhi. You respect him, I respect.. Its more than Nobel’.

@SID_NY Irrespective of the authenticity of any reference, one statement stood out that Shirk is the bigger sin than blasphemy and no one is allowed to kill a mushrik, then why a blasphemous

Most of the people are confused about qadri, if they are not sad they are not happy even on his hanging. I have heard some very close relatives also saying that they should have given him life improsonment

Wasn’t there a case where Hazrat Ali burned an apostate? I don’t know if he was mushrik or not but the story goes that he was an apostate…

You know what… Muslims are quite hypocrite even when it comes to punishing people. There is no punishment prescribed for Murtad in Quran. The capital punishment for Murtad has been derived from jews. Yes same jews, jinhe bura bhala kahe bagher khana hazm nahin hota aur jin ke barbadi ki bad-dua ke bagher koi dua complete nahin hoti. Same Jews whose books have been forged, but still Muslims are so keen to punish people that they found punishment based on such forged scriptures like Talmud.

Don’t have knowledge of this riwaayat, but I know that once in prophet’s life, some people burnt someone and prophet showed his displeasure. He said that punishment through fire is only the right of Allah. No human should do that.

Second thing is that sahaba could make mistakes too. Their act could not constitute shariah.
