I know some of you think that Aishwayra isn’t that pretty. But I think she is very pretty and she looks absolutely gorgeous as ‘Mumtaz’ in the movie to be released in June 2004.
really can’t wait till that. 
specially when the music for the movie is by A.R. Rehman
By the way this is not the one produced by Akbar Khan. There are going to be two big budget Taj Mahal movies next year.

yep it has ash as Mumtaz and they haven’t disclosed who will be playing Shah Jehan’s character. I think the music won’t be out till next year as the movie doesn’t release till next summer. 
Would Ameetabh (barring the age difference) be a strong candidate for the male role? I would guess this role would require someone of commanding presence?
This does sound like a movie worth watching.... if they created dresses like they did for Devdas...... :) to say nothing of the palace settings...!
If Big B is really doing Shah Jehan's character then, it wud probably ruin the whole movie. :( But what can we do since, he is so anxious to star against Aishwarya.

Ok folks, time out! Neither Aishwariya nor Karishma would do the classic Mumtaz any justice by playing her in a movie. Kareena Kapoor would be a nice choice if she brushed up on her acting skills bigtime! Or how about Amisha Patel? She’s cute too although too ditzy!
The best person wouldv’e been Meena Kumari back in her Pakeeza days. Now SHE would’ve played a dynamite Mumtaz!!!

Right now there is no one better to do this role than Ashwariya. Amisha Patel and Kareena??? Are you out of your mind, those are the most actresses in bollywood. But no denying Karishma is a very good actor.
And of course Meena Kumari and Madhubala have no match.
