Guys - come on. We are talking about one of the all time legends of cricket here. World of cricket owes a lot to Indian fans and Indian fans are into cricket this much because of what Tendulkar triggered.

I think it is a befitting honor but Lorgat forgets something: regardless of where the finals occur the stands will be full and if India is one of the finalists, it will be packed with Indians.

He is because of cricket and not other way around, so a bigger audience would’ve only benefitted the game.
