My answer is I dont know. how can I answer that question or for that matter even how can you answer that question? We just have a just a description of the lawyer. We dont know whether he was involved in any other case? what was his back ground. Investigation has to take place.
Abbas Kazmi who represented Ajmal Kasab, did do his job as a lawyer, he followed the system. There are so many lawyers who have defended alleged terrorist, do you think all have been killed?
Omar Shaikh was defended by an indian hindu lawyer when he was in indian jail.
Just because he was defending an alleged terrorist, that does not mean it is the very reason he was killed. It needs to be investigated. Lets not jump to conclusions.
But yes, there is always a threat issued by hindu extremist parties against lawyers who take the case against these alleged terrorists.
