My nature of work is mostly computer related so I’m in front of screens most of the time. On one of them there are always a couple of browsers running with different tabs. One of them has GS running. It makes me checking it every now and then. Other than that its usually work, keeping a tab on emails, twitter feed etc.

Ya, become a System Admin, or a network admin, or a database admin, Security Analyst..just sit on the computer all day looking at tickets and server loads.

Studies have shown that multitasking does not work. You would be more effective focusing on one task at a time.

Not to mention the results of these studies keep changing over time
Keep a look out for another studies which says multitasking works

Multi tasking works when you are on the phone with customer service and you do other work. But when you are attending a meeting and also checking your phone, you have wasted your time and the time of meeting attendees.
