nice..both :k:
Waits for Brute's input.
Im not a secret admirer.Iv been openly admiring it forever.
I love your car, and your nephew.![]()
Check this out? (suggestion 4 ur car decoration)

[its not real its built in computer graphics]
I have imperza 1.6 I was going to decorate it like this but then i thought i should buy 2.0 or greater engine bcz i need speed also..
VERY VERY COOLLL!!! :)
Good job on Maxima Salman. ![]()
I was perticularly glad to see the rear side skirts with after burn vents. awesome..:love:
my $0.002 is to staty away from heavy chrome ![]()
Samael, bro RX-8 is catching on real fast in sales due to its affordable price tag in comparison with Honda S2000. Your brother has it so tell me, what you see between the 2 ,![]()
Yeah, it’s decently priced. It’s the Touring GT package with all the options. He got his around febuary for around $36XXX. The only bad thing about this car is gas mileage. He only gets around 14 mpg. We took it to the track 3 times and it has real bad wheel hop which kill it’s ET times. I even tried dragging it in 2nd gear from a stop still lots of wheel hop. But I have to admit, it is the best handling STOCK car I’ve ever driven. :k:
I’m too broke to buy a S2000 yet, but I have my eyes on a nice WRX “adult driven”. ![]()
I agree, chrome = :yukh:
----------x--------------
hmmmmm,gas mileage & wheel hop is a serious issue. ![]()
Did you try reducing the tire pressure a bit,or if you have installed aftermarkets tire to opt for a lower size like 17-18 inchers, low profile. give it a try. ![]()
Stock tires and wheels, a good burnout to warm them up and correct pressure. I’m 99.9% sure a rear Sway Bar would fix that and better engine mounts. Actually low profile tires would hurt the ET. This car revs to over 9000rpms. I feather the clutch nicely at 4500-5000rpms then short-shift, smooth launch with lotsa hop! 8000-8500rpms launches leave nice long darkies for a few feet. ![]()
Someday, when I’m rich I’ll build a drag and an Autocross car from the ground up. sigh
hey salman - what numbers are u runnin from that motor - 15 for the standing quarter mile? Supe the motor - open her up, lower her compression, retard the cam timing, beef the con rods and valvetrain then race that baby...
and if you want to play with boost - put a nice turbocharger on it - run a standalone GM 808 fuel management system - and you're in business.... 12 or 13 seconds is gauranteed.
Get hold of a nice mandrel guy and have a 3 inch custom exhaust system in there (stainless steel 812) would do excellent. (dont hog your exhaust dia with a blower, the sound would be vicous.
And do tell about the suspension and brake package, - you would want glue stability with anchor throwing braking power with high numbers of power.
By the way - your car is more of a looker than a runner...
Hey samael - ever imagined that a 1982 GSL RX7 can beat the baby viper RX7 and the new RX8, race me at Devils point Karachi- you’ll see it first hand.
The motor is the 12A - built with mazdaspeed internals, HKS intake runners, a 13B EFI system, Garrett T4/T4 hybrid turbo with blitz Intercooler, HKS twin plate clutch, Cusco LSD and Custom free flow exhaust and 1990 Mazda Luce Brakes
When this baby launches in fury @ 5000 rpm - it’ll give a burnout in 1 and 2 gear complete till 60 mph. when the traction comes in - the competitors vanish.

HoooOOoo,
,wwwa wa wait,!let me get out of the way ! A Drag racer,you kidding me,
, then again !! why the hell not ![]()
Sway bar is a good fix, I forgot all about it,:k:

Any highly modified car would beat a stock car. There's nothing you can show me, I've seen my fair share already. I find it ironic that you used the fuel injection but not the 13b engine, would've made more sense and 6 ports instead of 4. Any hard dyno numbers on that beast? 1/4 times?
Isn't a 2 gear burnout bad for good ET times? So you race it often huh. Must suck to rebuild the engine a couple of times a year? Also must be good to be the only kid on the block with some knowledge of cars in Karachi.
Lastly, may I ask at what RPMs your engine idles at?
Ha Ha .. No way man. I’m not even close to a drag racer at all. Actually I like curves better than straight line speed. Autocross is where it’s at, and a S2000 would do quite well there. :k:

Dude, u ever built a motor yourself, like took it out ripped it apart n stuff (if not then dont waste my time) - the 13B has damn chatter issues, the apex seals and rotor O rings wear out quickly, the 12 A is a nicely balanced and flowing long living engine and the four ports are more than enough to feed it through the HKS runners,
The 2 gear burnout is pure cosmetic joy, u need to feather it to go straight, the best quarter mile I pulled was 12 seconds that was by a dude holding a stopwatch, - Got no dynos here in Karachi. I'm running it for 3 years with only one O ring change -
As for being a kid - on what planet does a damn kid work on cars - give me a break.. Ive seen ricers speaking the same - Next time you check into Karachi - get word of the track - and see it yourself , we dont got any emission issues or cars not being street legal,
As I say - any ass can make a baby viper howl - but the art is making a not so fast car scream only then can I judge that you are worth your salt.
The idling speed of my 7 is 1100 rpm, below that it bogs because the runners dont work on vacuum but on flow.
Brute,fmi,what is the knwledge base of your kind in Kararchi and how often do you race and where..,! your engine sounds like a heart throb for a sinner. What I’m trying to establish here is the frequency in which these high pro’s are used for racing etc,your answer would make some sense to me then,ps ,my knowledge is mediocre compare to booth of you,so consider me as a driver not a builder,![]()
no pun intended,
Your the one wasting my time with your BS kid. Chatter issues? This is probably the 1st time I ever heard of that and most engine have “chatter issues” until you find the apropriate parts and fine tune them. 3 years on an O-ring on a juiced car that drags? You must drive like my granny. I’ve never had a car that lasted me one year without replacing a gearbox, seals, pistons and yadda …
The 12A better than a 13B? On what planet? where? Why? How? ![]()
From a HP point of view, the 13B yields about 25% more Hp over 12A due to displacement. Forget about modding the engine, the stock 13B destroys the 12A and is a better platform for mods hands down ask any tuner. here’s a few hard numbers to enlighten you.
**12A = 1146 cc
13B = 1308 cc
increase = 14.136%
12A = 100 HP (1984)
13B = 135 HP (1984)
increase = 35.000%
12A = 107 lb/ft torque (1984)
13B = 133 lb/ft torque (1984)
increase = 24.299%**
Since when 4 ports are better than 6? ![]()
I know for a fact a Forced Inducted 12A on boost will not even idle under 2000rpms let alone 1100rpms (which I beleive is stock setting).
Why even get a super/turbo charger if there are no dynos? Your car must run like crap because the ECU in your car is not tuned for optimum performance. You fuel maps are way off. You just have the add ons but no fine tuning which will do more harm than good. Don’t you agree here?
The funniest and the part whereI lost all respect for you is the guy holding the stopwatch. I bet he’ll put you in the 9’s if you buy him a nice steak dinner. ![]()
The race scene in Karachi sounds like some “Too Fast Too Furious” wanna be hangout.
vadday lokaN tay vaddiaN gallaN ![]()
nice car ![]()
----------x-----------
Yeh ! I was highly curious on that, and was holding ma breath for an answer. The idea was to brag to my local “budiies” about Karachi “race” scenes.
,well i guess I have to stick to “Rickshaw” chatter ![]()
What a babe… :love: :love: :k:
