On another note, the Sunni references you provided are not binding for a Shi’i. How would you react if I had presented like hadith from Shi’i resources which say that those 12 caliphs will be from Banu Hashim and what about hadiths that name those twelve caliphs? Even Sunni texts have those hadiths but I have to hunt down the correct references for which I do not have time and resources right now.

Lets look at the shias MOST authentic book , seems only about 60% are weak and mauzoo and only 40 % are correct , and still the best authenticity , just not ask about the other " LESS Authentic" 3 books !!!

All shia brothers and sisters are just sticking to the 12 - caliph dilemma but not even a single replied to the post of khan babax about the sons of abu bakr(ra) , umar(ra) and ali(ra) and marriages with imams....

All such names: Usman, Umer, etc were common in arabs even before Islam! Islam did not change anyone's name! So if Ali kept names such as Usman or Umer etc that did not mean he did not have enomisity with them!

Nohas mostly contain unauthentic,exaggerated stories about ahl e bayt and about karbala event
THey are neither Naat (Hadrat Hassan bin Sabit:razi:) or Poetry to enhance Jazba e jihad(hadrat Khalid bin waleed, hadrat Ali rizwanullah ailihim) hence do not match any form of poetry endorsed vide sunnah.

Is the above your only justification for not listening to nauhas? If so, than can you please kindly point out the ‘unauthentic’ and ‘exagerated story’ part in the nauha below?

Yes a very large number indeed. But still we cant generalize. Habib al Muzahir was one of the kufis who sent letters to Imam Hussain a.s. He( may Allah be pleased with him) remained loyal and was martyred.

I'm not sure about the true intentions of this thread, but I find it extremley annoying that every time a shia-related question is posted, you get some jazbati and overly excited individuals posting about the 'flaws' of shiism.

Yeah I'm sure you can tell by my username that I am a Shia-- LOL, so there's no need to hide my subjectivity-- but I would just like to make a point, and I pray to God that it comes through as clear and consice and that it is not misinterpreted.

There are OBVIOUS differences between the Shia and Sunni schools of thought-- differences that have been debated for over 1000 years and still result in the "split". Has noone but myself found these arguments about proving "fallacies" and "authenticity" of "hadeeth" to be extremley counter-productive?

I mean... If you truly believe that what you are following is the truth, then why don't you just stick with what you believe and simply RESPECT everyone else and their beliefs/practices. If the most intellectual individuals of both schools of thought were unable to "convert" their counterparts (by the masses), then what makes you think that you will be able to do so online?

I can understand that Sunni's and or Wahabis aren't necessarily fond of Shia's and their Azadari-- which I think is understandable from their logic. However, Shia's clearly comprehend the situation differently, and if they have been doing so for decades, wouldn't it make sense to simply RESPECT their practices?

What I'm trying to say is: CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG? So what does it matter if Abu Bakr was the first Caliph, or if Ali was? Both parties believe in Muhammad (PBUH) as the messenger of Allah-- so let's stick with that.

If we can simply respect each other based on our similarities, I think we can go a much longer way than picking out our differences. Perhaps we can even put an end to the extremists/terrorists who are at the root cause of sectarian and civil violence on the streets of Pakistan.

This is a Pakistani forum, so let's look at what's productive for Pakistan as a whole.:)
