Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

Sir jee, plz.... how can i slander **one of the greatest sahabi of prophet(pbuh) ....the early muslim from ansars .... **i cannot even reach the foot-level of his slave ... to reach ubada(ra) is much far thing.....!!!!!

I am just saying that ubada(ra) was a bit touchy about the tribal customs and behaviours so ubai , which was from the same tribe as ubada(ra) , so at that time , he was a bit angry but when prophet(pbuh) requested the both to sit down ...the sat and thats was all.....As he was the leader of his tribe and furthermore this is not the single man , ubai , who blammed aysha (ra) ...infact the main blame was given by , hamna binte jahash (ra) , the sister of zainab(ra) , wife of prophet(pbuh) , in the jealousy of aysha(ra) as we call it "Sokan" *means the other wives hate each other , a world-known fact.... and secondle by *"Mastaah" , the man brought up by abu bakr(ra) was also in this blame, so ubada(ra) was of the view that only ubai was not in the matter , and that is very true... so he a bit resisted when muaaz(ra) said that but that never ever means that he supported the ubai, infact prophet(pbuh) himself had to walk on a tight rope before fatah makkah as madina society was tribal and so a bit favour to anyone can make sad other... so that is why he insisted the both to sit down and let his matter be to Allah.....

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

now brother , here you are twisting the matter....
infact , saqeefa was the *parliment **of medina where all tribes came to discuss imp. issue so hubab(ra) and qais(ra) were delivering speech that caliph should be from ansars and **this was very right.... as the sacrifices of ansars were so , so much and so much in every matter that they rightly deserved it .... **but the real problem , i already discussed , that **no **tribe will accept the authority of ansars , **the same as tribal nature and customs of that time of arabia *, makkah , the virtual capital due to kaaba , and quraish thier *custodians *, were accepted all over in arabia and nobody can harm them as in *sura quraish *.....

so ansars , may trillions of blessings of allah on them , got this point and unanimously accepted abu bakr(ra) .... this was a test time for thier love and faith and By God , they showed that they are the greatest supporters of islam and do not want throne .... this was the greatness of ansars ... for that is the reason why prophet(pbuh) said that if someonethink of harming ansars , allah will dissolve him in the hell-fire as salt dissolved in water ....

Yaar plz... the same ansars who chose usman(ra) instead of ali(ra) **as **abdur rahman bin auf(ra) asked secretely from almost **all houses of ansars **and muhajireen of medina at the selection time of 3 caliph and they **voted **for usman(ra) .... now how they became against him.....

i have already discussed that , some yout of medina statred drinking "Nabeez" , **a kind of wine , so usman(ra) expelled some of ansari youth from medina ... so they resisted him ,but thier no. was small....**

and if we accept that , they wanted to get rid of *nobility **of quraish , why they did not raise thier candidate when **ali(ra) bait took place *... no sir .. no ...you are here a bit wrong..... infact they never claimed caliphate ... but let me tell you that *even not a single matter was taken without the favour of great ansars ... they were the greatest vazirs and cordinaators to 3 caliphs ... every decision was taken with thier support and advice ... for thier great sacrifices *... so 3 caliphs never side-lined them....
they took active parts in all conquests and were very rich and wealthy...and commited to islam ....

Regarding harra , it happened only as ansars refused to accept yazeed **as caliph ,because he was not **elected **by the shura and **majority **of the saahabas and people were against him...furthermore , the **incident of karbala **had taken place ...so that there was a **great anger in the ansars for yazeed ...thats why ...they refused to baait him...

also the people of makkah **not bait yazeed for the same reasons and he also attacked **makkah ......

harra was not happened becase they wanted caliphate as there was no candidate from ansars ...infact all ansars went to abdullah ibne umar(ra) to take caliphate in place of yazeed but he refused... ftrthat , karabala ... ansars keep on going to imam zain-ul-avbideen **and insisted him to be caliph but he alsoo refused and left madina and **went nearby... so mean that ansars never wanted caiphate ...they just wanted the true caliph of islam...

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

yes very true... i agree with you ... infact hazrat ali(ra) took hold of **3 **matters in abu bakr(ra) period...

1.all letters written to inside or outside arabia were written by ali(ra)...
2. he also dealt with the matters of prisoners of wars and "fidya" etc...
3. at early stage , abu bakr(ra) in a fear that murdateen would not invade medina , abu bakr(ra) send 3 brave men on horses outside medina and one was ali(ra)....

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

Yes , again very informative post … these were the only 3 advices given by prophet(pbuh)
infact he not said a single word about succession as he left completely it to the
ummah 's choice…

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

Again very good and logical answer …

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

Yes very excellent point … why prophet(pbuh) not asked for a pen and paper in his last 2 days if he wanted the succession of ali(ra) ???

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

Infact in his last days ...prophet(pbuh) was start giving the indications *about the next caliph to be selected but **specifically not named **that so that a kind of *"Imposement" to be held on muslims...

**Ibn Abbas (radiallahu anhu) **reports:

“The Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) came out during his illness from which he died, **his head **bound **with a cloth. He sat on the **minbar, thanked Allah, praised Him and said: “There is no one among the people who has been more generous to me with his life and his property than Abu Bakr ibn Abi Quhaafa (radiallahu anhu) **and if I was to take a **bosom **friend, I would take **Abu Bakr **as my bosom friend. But, the friendship of Islam is **better. *Block off every door in this Masjid except the door of Abu Bakr” *[Saheeh Al-Bukharee]

look at the last sentence.....
what is signalling.....
the masgid was not **only masjid **at that time ....

it was parliment , cabinet meeting place ,GHQ, university , and presendial place....
so what is the meaning of the last sentence ......!!!!!!
can anybody tell me ?????
shows that on all these places , the man rightfully to take a place is only , abu bakr(ra) ...

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

For the information of readers , this is the same great and only *sahabi who is the narrator of a **pen and paper incident *....... so if my shia brothers and sisters **accept **his hadees on pen and paper... **why not they accept he above hadees from the same man .....as he was pure banu hashimi ?????

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

Just another incident of the *last days *.....

Narrated *Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (radiallahu anhu): *

“Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) sat on the *pulpit **and said: *“Allah has given one of his slave, the choice of receiving the splendor and luxury of the worldly life (whatever he likes) or to accept the good (of the Hereafter) which is with Him (Allah). So he has chosen that good which is with Allah.” **

On that Abu Bakr (radiallahu anhu) *wept **and said: *“Our fathers and mothers be sacrificed for you. **

We became astonished at this.” The people said: “Look at this old man! Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) talks about the slave of Allah to whom He has given the option to choose either the splendor of this worldly life or good which is with Him, while he says, “Our fathers and mothers be sacrificed for you.” But it was Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) who had been given the option, and Abu Bakr (radiallahu anhu) knew it better than us.” [Saheeh Al-Bukharee v.5, no.244]

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

**Ibn Umar (radiallahu anhu) **reports:

“We used to discuss the best *of the people during the time of the Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) and we saw the best as **Abu Bakr *(radiallahu anhu), **then Umar, then Uthman ibn Affaan *(radiallahu anhu)” *[Saheeh Al-Bukharee]

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

A woman **came to the Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) and he ordered her to **come back later. When she said: *“What if I come don't find you? (Indicating his death).” He (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said: "If you don't find me, then go to Abu Bakr.” *[Saheeh Bukharee]

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

Jundub (radiallahu anhu) narrates:

“I heard the Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) five days before his death **saying: "I declare my **innocence **before Allah that I should have any **bosom friend **among you for Allah Most High has taken me as His friend just as He took **Ibrahim **as His friend. If I were to take any bosom friend from my nation I would take **Abu Bakr.” [Saheeh Muslim]

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

The Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) made no **"official" **appointment of a successor, but left **plenty of signs **that Abu Bakr was to succeed him as his Khalifa.

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

and in the last , the same book Bukhari *from which the **healthymind **made **tons **of material from **al-tigrani book(Then i was guided) *... the same book and the **narrator **is the lion of God , **ali(ra) , the great .....

Ali ibn Abi Talib **(radiallahu anhu) was also very much aware of this and bore witness to it as we see in this narration from his **son, which is found in **Saheeh Al-Bukharee **also:

“I said to my father: ‘Who is the best **of the people after Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam)?’ He said: “Abu Bakr (radiallahu anhu)”. I said: “And then who?” He said: “And then *Umar ibn Al-Khattab *(radiallahu anhu).” I was *afraid **that he would say **Uthman *(radiallahu anhu) next, so I said: **“And then you?” **To which he answered: “I am nothing but a man among the Muslims.”**

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

Still ayone can say that ali, the great(ra) was unaware of the merits of abu bakr(ra) ......

actually ali(ra) was a bit depressed *with the situation that **muhajireen and ansars did not take him in the decision of saqeefa *... but abu bakr(ra) accepted this **fault **and said that it was done in a **haste **to avoid **power struggle **between ansars and muhajireens... and ali(ra) **generously accepted this plea and happily **bait **him....

Re: Muharram Starts!!! Some Important Questions to Ask (Exclusive)

I have given this referece, but i dont know what is wrong with ur brain..

**Fatwa (ruling) of Shaikh Mahmood Shaltoot

Head Office of al-Azhar University:

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL Text of the Verdict (Fatwa) Issued by His Excellency Shaikh al-Akbar Mahmood Shaltoot, Head of the al-Azhar University, on Permissibility of Following "al-Shia al-Imamiyyah" School of Thought

His Excellency was asked:

Some believe that, for a Muslim to have religiously correct worship and dealing, it is necessary to follow one of the four known schools of thought, whereas, "al-Shia al-Imamiyyah" school of thought is not one of them nor "al-Shia al-Zaidiyyah." Do your Excellency agree with this opinion, and prohibit following "al-Shia al-Imamiyyah al-Ithna Ashariyyah" school of thought, for example?

His Excellency replied:

1) Islam does not require a Muslim to follow a particular Madh'hab (school of thought). Rather, we say: every Muslim has the right to follow one of the schools of thought which has been correctly narrated and its verdicts have been compiled in its books. And, everyone who is following such Madhahib [schools of thought] can transfer to another school, and there shall be no crime on him for doing so.

2) The Ja'fari school of thought, which is also known as "al-Shia al- Imamiyyah al-Ithna Ashariyyah" (i.e., The Twelver Imami Shi'ites) is a school of thought that is religiously correct to follow in worship as are other Sunni schools of thought. Muslims must know this, and ought to refrain from unjust prejudice to any particular school of thought, since the religion of Allah and His Divine Law (Shari'ah) was never restricted to a particular school of thought. Their jurists (Mujtahidoon) are accepted by Almighty Allah, and it is permissible to the "non-Mujtahid" to follow them and to accord with their teaching whether in worship (Ibadaat) or transactions (Mu'amilaat).
Signed, Mahmood Shaltoot.**

The above Fatwa was announced on July 6, 1959 from the Head of al-Azhar University, and was subsequently published in many publications in the Middle East which include, but are not limited to:

al-Sha'ab newspaper (Egypt), issue of July 7, 1959. al-Kifah newspaper (Lebanon), issue of July 8, 1959.
