i personally even hate the idea of comparison (when small kids are made comparison with their elders “o yeh tum pay gayea hai!”. come on ppl get a life! everyone have their own peronality.
whereas, here we are talking Muhammad (PBUH) names’.
dont forget that in ISLAM there is no place for depiction, especially of holy figures.
p.s. punishment is very extreme though 
, because teacher not only didnt think what kinda name those children gonna come-up with but also she should have discussed it way before in the class (badly designed assignment)

no, the point is that kids named the bear, not her, and she didnot know that giving a name to a bear that every 4th person has anyways is some huge crime. so show some decency, some compassion and just let her be.
I would be very offended if someone had named some characters mohammad or jesus or moses or abraham in jest or as a taunt but this is not it.
The 'crime' (rather innocent mistake) does not warrant such a verdict.

Anyways Sudanese folks should be focusing a little more on ppl killing in the name of religion/race/language in darfur than spending their energies on prosecuting a teacher of some kids class where some kid named a bear muhammad.

Uh i read this in the newspaper earlier today, to my knowledge, the teacher asked them to naem the bear their FAVORITE name..and if their favorite name happesn to be Muhammad, why should they be punsihed for it?? Maybe hte kids and teacher dint know better, but they shouldn't be punished so severely for it

there are tons of cases of child custody where women dont get their child’s custody.
if u remember, we also had a discussion on that rape women, over there woman was also used.
women are used everywhere GN, sometime men rape it, adn sometimes media exploit it, and sometimes women are used to degrade other women 
i think its a big Azmaish for men, and a real battle for women to stand-up STRONG, rather than provocative!

if today something gonna happens with u in states (Naouzobillah) no one gonna give it a damn (or the process will be very slow), but if something happens with u (Naouzobillah) in pakistan, then...i think logoon ko pata chal geyea hoga k or loug kia khena cha rahay hain. :)
