It is not about Gora vs Muslims. It is not about whose name is funny or not. It is about work ethic and professionalism. When I said he shouldn't have done it, I would have said the same thing if a Pakistani or Indian newscaster was making fun of the name of some American politician on live or recorded telly. Jeez.

Mardemomin, i can see how it would be funny, there's a last name called "butt" and i've seen it so many times, if he was making fun of a pakistani politician with that last name would it be ok, i think there is a politician by that name right? or i know somebody whose cousin's first name is 'jihad'.....making fun of these names especially when this person is supposed to one that little kids look up to and say i want to be a news anchor like him when i grow up.

I haven't seen westerners making so much fun of Pakistani Or Arabic names as much as they pull the leg of Indians(who are racially, culturally or ethnically different from Pakistanis). Indians cause so much problems in the west and thats why the rebuttal comes in the form of newscasters making fun of the Chief Minister of their largest state, Delhi. Why keep such names when you know everyone will be laughing at you?

A crowd from Lahore for example looks similar to a crowd from Istanbul or a group of people from Athens. The racial slur "Paki" in the UK is actually used for Sikhs and Indians who are dark skinned. This newscaster was using his right to free speech- I don't know why Indians got so upset.

He called blacks ‘uncivilized race’. He thought Indians were better than these ‘lazy and aimless’ people and thought Indians were better race compared to other ‘colored’ races.
