If you look at Pakistanis, we are NOT South Asians- We are mixture of Central Asians, Arabs, and Europeans. Only 7% of Pakistanis (Mohajirs) have Indian blood in them. A crowd from Lahore for example looks similar to a crowd from Istanbul or a group of people from Athens. The racial slur “Paki” in the UK is actually used for Sikhs and Indians who are dark skinned. This newscaster was using his right to free speech- I don’t know why Indians got so upset.

ok right, more pakistanis are lighter skinned. and yes i often get white europeans mixed up with pakistanis sometimes. anyways, you’re right, he practiced his “right to free speech of bigotry” a bit too much there and forgot how he was supposed to be a mature professional on the air and consequently got his white butt fired

nobody is stopping you from sending him fan mail. but just think if he’s ignorant enough to make fun of ethnic names like this do you think he’ll stop at that. he must be just as much or more ignorant on islam and muslims.
