^are you serious? this news anchor was fired and they made it seem like he resigned just so the news channel doesn’t get bad press but believe me this sort of thing is not allowed.

i know non whites or specifically south asians( or ok i’m pretty sure you would say pakistan is “central asia” because you guys are culturally, racially, ethnically, linguistically, pigmentally, different from us south asians) are prejudiced, bigoted amongst ourselves but when non brown people in high positions or of influential positions start being racist like this you can bet they’ll be fired like this bigot was.

it’s something he should’ve done with the rest of his bigot friends in the privacy of his bigot house and not live on the air where everybody in the world can see how much of a total racist he is. he’ll never work in the newscaster field again. see?

If you look at Pakistanis, we are NOT South Asians- We are mixture of Central Asians, Arabs, and Europeans. Only 7% of Pakistanis (Mohajirs) have Indian blood in them. A crowd from Lahore for example looks similar to a crowd from Istanbul or a group of people from Athens. The racial slur “Paki” in the UK is actually used for Sikhs and Indians who are dark skinned. This newscaster was using his right to free speech- I don’t know why Indians got so upset.
