I am not sure how did you get this idea that greeting Non-Muslims is forbidden in Islam. There is no such restriction.

and on pray issue, Muslims too can pray anywhere (be it chuhrch, mandir etc). They are free to offer namaz at any place with only once restriction that place has to be clean (as we call it PAK). In fact I am not sure if you are aware or not in many cities in US, JUMMA prayers are held in church buildings, bowling alley and what not.

and N3m3sis, NO, its better to understand quran in guidance of some scholar. Its not left upto each individual to understand it by himself.

nope i learned islam from learned muslims, ones that know the quran inside out and like those verses talking about “idol worship” are ones i just cannot accept and where it’s not right to say merry christmas to a christian or greeting nonmuslims on their festivals is wrong b/c it promotes nonislamic practices and other religions.
i just pick the quranic verses that my mind allows me to accept and those that i think are beautiful and since i cannot accept certain verses that talk about nonmuslims, i still consider myself a nonmuslim

the videos i posted were showing more how hindus are free to pray whereever they want, however they want including in a mosque,whatever makes them feel one with God. i was in no way showing the muslim aspect of it or saying what they might or night not have done is right. i am no one to judge them.
