Thats one possible solution.
A guy who is making decent wages can come home, cook and clean all by himself. Like my famous quote:
" I dont need my TV watched so badly that I need to bring a wife into my life."
She has to bring something much more into a marriage. AS in support, company, intellectual stimulation, partnership in most matters, and of course lets not forget great meals!
