Actually i agree with "Ground Reality" part. I totally agree that there is still a lot of "JAHALAT" in Pakistan, lot of people still unaware of their rights and reason of supporting a certain party is beyond shocking. I was watching Asma's show yesterday and she asked a young guy who he would support in next elections and his reponse was " Imran wants to come to power so he can come to power, steal all the money and run away and this is why it is important to vote for Nawaz Sharif". One young NS supporter said he won't vote for Imran because he has old people so what change would he bring (totally ignoring the fact that N league consists 100% of old people) and host Asma mashallah made it worse by putting words in his mouth by saying "Haan aap Musharaff k sathiyon ki baat kar rahay hain". (NS has 3 times more Musharaff lotay???).
So yes ground reality is we aren't ready to learn anything from past so don't keep your hopes high for a change in Pakistan people :)
You are showing jahalat by calling majority of Pakistani as such. PTI simpletons such as yourself need to come outside from your utopian world and smell the freaking coffee. most of you ironically outside of Pakistan are no "mamee" how and who people will vote.
The ground reality is Pakistan doesn't need revolution or God forbid tsunami but just timely and peaceful elections.

I don't see any issue with this if the people want PMLN to rule. One thing is for certain it's curtains for people's party in the next elections, and PTI has a lot of ground to cover.

no one says IK is corrupt he is sincere and clean just like Ron Paul but sorry to say he is a not a leader he didnt prove it neither he knows how to navigate through the political climate of Pakistsn - blunder upon blunder, now I know when my dad says that he saw bigger jalsas and revolution then PTI he refers to Asghar Khan and Bhutto - the real revolution people of Pakistan saw was Bhutto years but then what ? We are worst off now.
Pakistan only way to progress is timely elections that's all folks !

The problem being that forming alliance with PPP in the next elections would be a liability, and at least in Punjab and KP the main competition would be between PTI and PMLN, this is the main reason why they will not become allies. Who ever gets the majority in the next elections should be allowed to rule, hopefully they will be better than the incompetent rulers we have presently.

Imran's WOT policy may well be crap, can you enlighten when Mian Nawaz Sharif has ever presented his policy and what exactly is his point of view? As for tackling corruption in 90 days, NS just 2 days ago in his speech made fun of this as well and contradicted himself within minutes by saying people will start seeing difference within days when he comes to power (Unless he meant few 1000 days, he said same thing as Imran).
For your information, their paid social media team is running campaigns about him where he is called "Zakaat chor" and "Sattay baaz" but glad that you at least admit he is not corrupt. I can't believe you think he is not a leader especially when you support a person like Nawaz Sharif. Imran is more educated, sensible, aware, competent than Nawaz Sharif without any doubt. Yes you are right Nawaz is more politically matured as he knows how to accommodate people and how there are no permanent friends or enemies in politics.

A few months ago I had started a poll asking PA members to list their fallback option in elections. The poll was created specifically aginast the backdrop of by-elections that have not been contested by the PTI. The question was simple: "Who will you go for in case if PTI is not there?"
I have been pitching this question to a lot of people, especially to those who used to vote for Noon League but have now shifted their alliance from the Noon camp to the PTI camp. An overwhelming majority of these people has still kept Noon League as a fallback option. Their choice is based not on love for the Noon League, rather it originates from hate to the other pole of politics.
I will just paraphrase myself once again: This is not the right time for crystal gazing. PTI has gone back to its camp to reorganize it by way of internal elections. Since we don't understand, or don't know, the value of intra-party elections, some of us think that the PTI is a thing of the past.
There should be at least two parties on ground for a match. Let the second party arrive at the ground :)

PTI 's policy of going soft on Zardari clan and attacking full force NS seems to have back fired. There is no doubt that their popularity has come down a lot in last one year. Attacking Zardari clan was left exclusively for NS who capitalised big time. PTI strategy is failing totally. I guess PTI needs some people who have a thinking head also.. In addition to emotional cult followers..
At the moment there is a big anti Zardari sentiment in Punjab.. What people want to hear is someone who thinks Zardari is the cause of their miseries. With three months to election.. PTI has slipped at a very bad moment. Moreover boycotting all the by elections was a very bad idea..

^ In addition to all you have mentioned, PTI is wasting important time in their party elections. Where as PMLN has fully launched their election campaign, no one knows who PTI's candidates would be in the coming elections. In politics timing is important...

When you compare the way your maha daccoo leader ruled Punjab considering whole Pakistan his baap ki jaagir, Zardari seems to be better ruler. It has always been slogans raised by N$ and its cronies that "jag punjabi jag, teri pag main lag gai aag" during election times, is working now in full swing. It is a shame that such sentiments which had created ripples in people of Pakistan, dividing nation on ethnic grounds. Even N$ wins on that grounds, will face hell from three other provinces.

firenze: See its the over all tone of the column that makes Talat Hussain unbiased. He gave credit to PML-N and analyzed how PTI needs to win these votes etc. But he did not go on and on about PML-N’s provincial performance like Ata ul haq qasmi or Irfan did.

People of Sindh, Baluchistan and KP have faced worse than Punjab, I don't know why you have a pain for Punjab only? PPP is still a stake holder in Punjab because it is a true national party. Pakistan has suffered what past rulers have done to Pakistan. Since PPP has to face the policies of past rulers does not mean that PPP shared the sole responsibility. Under present circumstances, don't expect miracles from PPP, had PML(N) would have in power, you could have faced the worst as N$ raped the country in past.
N$ is alive because he belongs to Punjab otherwise dictator would have hanged him a longtime ago for treason and endangering the lives people including that caste away dictator, traveling in that notorious plane.

brother you can see any report regarding power outages between Punjab and the other provinces during the past five years, the load shedding in Punjab has been almost double as compare to the rest of Pakistan. One small example is that cng load shedding in sindh and balochistan until recently has been for one day and 3 days for Punjab and KP. The load shedding duration has been between 12 to 22 hours, the previous winters there was no electricity and gas supplies for faisalabad the hub of punjabs industry, many industries closed or shifted to Bangladesh. Considering the way they have ruled the country in this tenure why would a sane person vote for PPP in the next elections?
As far as the remaining provinces are concerned, sindh and balochistan are with people’s party and if they can’t solve the law and order problem there it’s their incompetency.
There’s no need crying over spilt milk, at the end of the day it was bhuttos tendency for power grab which forced him to post a 'monkey’as chief of army staff who didn’t have any standing. Had he for once used merit for installing the Coas he could have survived.

Pmln tou aaj Kal bhangray dal rahi hay, they claim they will get two thirds majority in the next elections. That means a clean sweep in Punjab and KP, fata and mqm will go with the winners.
