What I dont understand is , MQM still has any integrity left in what they do? Who are the people that still continue to listen to these dramabaaz politicians?
No seriously, please tell me has the public lost their mind? MQM changes their stance every single day.. one day they say they are off with the government, next day they say we are on .. its a never ending cycle .. Now this referendum they are seeking , has to be the biggest ever joke..
Please tell them to use the same resources they are about to waste in this referendum , to do a referendum on : Should MQM exist?

ANd then it will be fun watching the results
You need to go take a chill pill. Gosh. Did you ever show such anger and hatred against Taliban or Taliban khan?
About MQM's existence. Well, this question has a resounding YES answer if the question was about EXTREMISM and TALIBAN. Yet, pakistanis like you would rather like to see MQM wither away instead of extremism. The same MQM which is supported by the overwhelming population of Sindh and the rest of the country which votes for MQM.
About MQM threatening to leave the government. Another ignorant comment. You obviously do not follow Sindh politics.
MQM's referendum is against Taliban. And it is these people who are inviting Balochistan Liberation Army and Sindhu Desh activists to come join Taliban.
But I guess MQM is a bigger threat than BLA for some people.
Remember that it is the same party which changed its name from Muhajir Quami Movement to Muttahida Qaumi Movement. It did it because it wanted to cast aside the cloak of an ethnic party and become a mainstream Pakistani party.
It is the same party which accepted Sindhi ajrak and cap to indicate to everyone that it wants to live peacefully with others in the province.
It is the same party which wants support from all over the country instead of just an ethnic group or a city.
Why would it want to do all of that above, if it wants to break away from Pakistan? There are several secession movements in the country. But instead of talking about them, people would instead mock, ridicule and abuse MQM?!
Did MQM clarify which Quaid's Pakistan? :@: Quaid e Azam or Quaid e tehreek?
It did. It was Quaide Azam's Pakistan.
Even those people who don't consider Quaid secular and say that Quaid wanted a Maudoodi Pakistan; even they would not pick Taliban's Pakistan.
So I think the purpose of this referendum is just to make people realize that now is the time to decide which way country should go.
I see so much hatred for MQM among people that I am sure if they do vote in this referendum then they would rather vote for Taliban's Pakistan ... only because MQM is against Taliban.
I have first hand and personal experience of this hatred when I went on the All Pakistan tour, and I have second hand experience of it through my family in Sindh.
So simple, that Quaid who's pictures are hanging in pvt and govt orgnaizations under MQM influence in karachi.
hypocricy at its best again.
Then everyone who carries the flag of his party instead of Pakistan's flag, is also a hypocrite!
Actually if there is anyone to be condemned then it should be Taliban extremists who declare democracy kufr and Quaide Azam a kafir. If anyone needs to be condemned then it should be those who shouted "Pakistan an khappay" at one time. If anyone needs to be condemned then it should be Baloch secessionists.
But no. Such people are the brethren of likes of Taliban Khan.

That is a different thing. Do you think that displaying the picuture of your politcal leader in Govt offices is legal?

If it is illegal then why hasn't anyone gone to courts?
The thing is that it is very clear that MQM is talking about Quaide Azam. There is no confusion. But you HAVE to say SOMETHING to abuse MQM someway. And in the process forget about Taliban khan's brethren who declare Pakistan a kafir state.

lol. What a poor argument. A lot of maters out there are not in courts. Does that mean those are just legal? Govt employees take the oath to not to involve in political activities and you are saying its legal to display pics of political leader in govt office.
Neverthless who accept courts decisions? I m quoting ishart ul ebad's words for CJ on his last visit of karachi. "dekh lea anjam karachi anay ka? kitnay log qatl huwy han tumhari waja se?"

You are missing the point, it's NOT about Talibans but MQM's integrity and reputation. That is why i gave an example of Zardari holding a referendum on whether corruption is agood thing or a bad thing. OFF COURSE corruption is bad but people would rather discuss Zardari's moral right to hold such a referendum with such a pathetic reputation. In other words, OFF COURSE majority of people want Quaid's (Jinnah not Altaf) Pakistan but people find it ironic considering MQM's own activities and reputation.
I FAIL to understand what a referendum is going to achieve where answer is more than obvious?
lol I wonder if Quaid-e-Fisaad Ull-Taff Bhai is pitch drunk when he comes up with these shenanigans? Maltavi bhi kar diya! haha
Welcome back. I hope you will contribute to other threads too, not just bashing mqm and PPP only. is carvan-e -zindagi main aor bhi buhat se gunahgar hain.:)
