If we are open minded and big hearted and have a heart to listen and accept things and faults, then we wont be having any issue! … issue arise when we stop thinking … we need to see any issue from both sides, if we keep on discussing any isue being biased then we will keep on spinning in a circle forever …
There are no issues which can’t be solve … only thing is a heart and a brain which is needed … to me solution is here!
- Make a team from all parties by taking 2 sensible and senior person from each polotical party …
- Call all Mufti’s and Siholars from all school of thoughts …
- Bring the issue of tbans to them, let them discuss what tbans want, then allow them to come to a conclusion based on Quran and Sunna’t …
- Put that Fatwa to tbans’s table and ask them nicely to accept …
Note that neither tbans nor others will agree 100%, but this issue can only be solved on the basis of ‘kuch do kuch lo basis’ … and forget the past basis! …
Unless we get involves Islamic scholras in this issue, nothing will be solved …
The Scholars should be inculded like Molana Tahir-ul-Qadri, Molana Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman, Dr. Israr Ahmed etc …
Now let us pray and move on from MQM’s tail! …

Nice thought but there are forces both internal and external who would work for this to fail........Just wait and see there will be more videos more spin. It seems (I may be wrong) we are starting just starting to take a stand on some issues.

Despite that Mustafa Kamal seems to have done a good job and that should be accepted. But how does his work in Karachi justify them not parting ways with the coalition despite having a major policy difference is beyond me.

He is able to work througha team work ... He need support from locals, Governer, CM, PM and then President ... in Past he has support from all above ... and this is all because MQM is sitting in govt, suppose if they sit in opposition then there are chances Mayor will lose the financal support, approval for big projects ...

I have my cents to add in above…
Taliban’s aren’t getting any stronger, imagine a group of people persuaded by World Powers gaining power every day… no its not them, it we, We as nation are getting weaker, we are not standing united against this threat… Taliban on the other hand are just exploiting our weakness in form of Nizam-e-Adl kind of agreements
we should get into the root of Problem, that is, Govt has failed to provide Justice and sense of security common man this has allowed ethnic violence in past and now we are witnessing the religious side of it.. the demand of both are same… Justice !!!
We should Form a National Govt for next 5 years, maximum 3 sane & highly capable, determined persons from each political party/group of Pakistan. these people should form a Govt. with new priorities, bringing the issues faced by the common people of Pakistan on their top list with the following issues

- Give People of Baluchistan their right, this will kill the movements of BLA and etc by itself.
- Provide Equal chances of education to every student of Pakistan, pay more attention in upgrading the standard of Govt School and Colleges,.
- Provide an environment where Trade and Business can flourish, the Pakistanies aboard have enough to invest in Pakistan, get their confidence, give them facilities and let them invest in and for Pakistan.
- Like you said, Make committee to deal with the religious extremism
- Make new and more provinces out of these four we already have.

About scholars, no need to worry about tbasn, we don’t need thier permission for acceptance, these scholars are scholars of Islam and should have degrees … they are needed to resolve the religious matters only!
About Balochistan, well they have issues but those can be delivered afterward …
If we are able to make new provinces, then we can solve millions of issues … specially in Punjab and lower Punjab …
Yes, Education is a biggest threat, but before that we need to cut down the wadaira, jageerdari, chodhry , etc system from our rural areas, other wise it wont make any sense even if you open IT schools…

we have surrendered a portion of our country’s legal authority to a gang with guns.
We have validated a legal system that was not framed by the elected representatives of the area or the country, but by people who said:
can you tell me what ‘sharia’ it is thats been imposed in the area? could the lawmakers who voted yes tell us? No. Is it the same sharia the country with the exception of a few hardened nuts condemned, and said no no this is not Islam.
If one cares about democracy at all, we need to understand that this is a bad blow to whatever democratic norms we have. Laws are supposed to come from elected representatives. Not from surrender to a bunch of thugs with guns.
It is truly a shame that more people did not stand up against this.

although i suspect MQM and may be hate them but we should atleast appreciate their stance on talibans you cant appease them.
but still lets see what happens now as ball in in talibans court , i just need reassurance that army is ready to take them on again this time with decisive force lets hope for the best.

They have been tolerant towards those that have been tolerant towards them. They have not been tolerant towards those hell bent on killing or throwing mohajris into the arabian sea.
So no, MQM does not have a reputation of being run over by others and in a jungle like Pakistan that is the only way to survive. When the taliban come knocking (and they will), MQM won't be playing dead.
So how does 'abstaining vote' make MQM a "tolerant" force? or do you mean they are tolerant of Taliban by not voting "no" to the bill?
