MQM Thugs doing what they do best

Re: MQM Thugs doing what they do best

just as Punjabis wouldn't want to be called daggay, Pathans as Akhrot.

Are they not proud of their UP-Bihar heritage?

We are proud of Pakistan first (after Islam), anything else is secondary.

Many Mohajirs want to marry Punjabis for their gorapan and sharp looks but they also want to merge with the society and get accepted more in Pakistan than they are now... nothing wrong with that... its kinda like a niggah dying to marry a gori in the US- gorey rang da zamana kaddey hoga na purana.. ;)

you sure don't know the correlations, next time you run in to a nigger, just call him nigger, and come back here to see what happened ;)

Re: MQM Thugs doing what they do best

wrong-

Its the other way round. Punjabi girls want to marry Muhajirs cause they dont beat thier wifes like punjabis do.

sorry to sound racial ---but my observation and experiance. :)

Re: MQM Thugs doing what they do best

Arrey kaptaan saab, what I was saying was that the way we Punjabis are proud of our Punjabi origins, Sindhis are proud that their ancestors were from Sindh region- so on and so forth, there is nothing wrong in Mohajirs accepting their ancestors largely came from the Hindi belt(Muslims used to and still speak Urdu there- doesn't matter if you call India Bharat or Hindustan- the same way Urdu/Hindi are one language- That muslims of India want to associate themselves more with Arab and Iran, they gave it a different name/script and identity but its the same language- whether mohajirs like it or not). I have met indians from UP and Bihar and they use "Bhaiyya" a lot in their Hindi/Urdu and they tell me they are also called, "Bhaiyyas" in Bombay, Delhi and other places.. so, why mohajirs have a problem?? Okay, let us put it this way, you are a muslim, a Pakistani with Indian origins like French-Canadians or Irish-Americans.. whats wrong with that? Can you please explain, bhaijaan?

Re: MQM Thugs doing what they do best

Come on yaar! There's no one as large-hearted and accepting as we are.. call us duggas or whatever but even the selfish Pathans accept that. No wonder they are in such high numbers in so many districts of Punjab like Mianwali etc. I have met many mohajir guys willingness to marry punjabi girls- their focus is to woo a punjabi girl where they are in high #s like Karachi and Lahore. Even after they get married, they speak in Punjabi in homes.. can u explain why? Its like desis getting married to gori.. do you think a desis will speak with goris in Punjabi/Urdu after getting married? :D

Re: MQM Thugs doing what they do best

when you refer to each other as bhaiyya, its like when you are saying brother a sentence like " aray bhaiyya, kahan chalay", it however does not make it okay to use the term bhaiyya to refer to a community.

different words in different contexts can carry different meaning, case in point is sadeeq or rafeeq in the middle east. while the word means friend or companion, it is used for desis as a derogatory term.

I am very familiar with the usage of the word bhaiyya in India as well, and it is used as a derogatory term to refer to low income, low class, slum dwelling, muslims.

the usage of the word bhaiiyay is not equivalent to french-american or irish-american. as far as someone being hindustani, well before august 14th 1947, everyone was hindustani, whether the lived in the areas that became pakistan, or in areas that became bharat, and then moved to areas that became Pakistan. we are all pakistani.

Re: MQM Thugs doing what they do best

you are getting funnier by each post, I know Punjabi families who speak Urdu and teach Urdu to their kids, I don't know why you are dragging such issues uselessly.

Re: MQM Thugs doing what they do best

Enough I guess. The topic was abt condemning what the unruly MNAs did at the airport. Why do all threads have to end up in racist arguments?

I hope it has been clearly understood that "bhaiyya" is taken as an insulting term, just like "akhrot", "paindo". It too may not have an outright insulting literal meaning and is also used in place of "bhai/bhaijan/bhaisahab", but when used for referring to a people as "bhaiyyay" it does become a racist word. So just like other racist/derogatory words, this one is to be avoided too.
