MQM will use their resignations as a blackmailing ploy, similar to how they used to join and leave the previous Sindh regime. If the government agree to their terms they’ll be back, if not the victim card will be there. I believe their victim card’s better if it means peace in Karachi.

Perhaps establishment (read Army) want to give birth to another Haqiqi and they want sitting members to join the new MQM. Army did create MQM but it was a genie that got out of control and now they want to remove the root of it …i.e Altaf Bhai

Haha, I can never tell if you’re serious or making a joke.
A lot of the 187 on that list have been taken care off in some fashion (killed or arrested).
Do you think the army would really give Farooq Sattar the list, then publicise it, so all the people on that list could run away? Of course not. It was a tactic to show the world just how many thugs these traitors are hiding.

Yesterday Karachi saw unprecedented level of Independence Day celebration in 40 years (take that MQM!!) - the whole City was smiling green. The trader community just like Eid, confirmed record level of sale for 14 August merchandise. This is what happens when Pakistan Army decides to clean Karachi of Indian backed terrorists with full commitment and conviction. People of Karachi are proud of Rangers performance.
Some people can only hope there and wish that this operation goes the 92 ways and MQM gets some sympathy. But it’s too late, free media has changed everything in Pakistan. People are lot more aware of facts and ground realities.
Yes of course, there is still a segment of Karachi that will continue to show sympathy and support to MQM on purely ethnic basis no matter how many mass murders MQM commits, how loudly he asks for India to intervene in Pakistan and NATO forces to take over Karachi, threatens to pull another 1971 or the total racist crap he hurls at other ethnicities. They are just as traitorous as the traitorous party they sympathise and support. These people never cared nor will ever care about Pakistan. May they all meet the same humiliating end.
