Aay ways , if there will be another by election ( which I doubt ) MQM will get all seats again if they didnt boycott.
I was in KHI last month and sure PTI ki train choot gai as far as khi is concerned . Unless they are brought into power the same was as MQM Haqiqi was brought in military trucks.

Dramay baazi. Why do mqm need to contest reelections in the present scenario? Rangers would still remain in 90 days time and the current operations. Anyways enjoy until the resignations are taken back.

Its all a blackmailing technique and nothing else.
Also there MUST be a legislation in the assembly that whoever resigns is not entitled to contest elections in the next term. We’ll see who resigns then.
If someone is not ready to take the responsibility and do the job they are not entitled for tax payers’ money and time and the promises they make in election campaigns.

Keeping Altaf’s usual bak bak aside, Rangers have started making mess of the operation that was going in right direction. People have started vanishing and then their dead bodies are found (like 1992), rangers are giving political press releases in reply to MQM’s political statements even though its Sindh/Federal govt’s duty to defend rangers actions and they should defend the operation furiously instead of pushing rangers to face political criticism from MQM. After all this people wonder why MQM gets votes from Karachi. All these thing let MQM play innocent or victim card over and over again.
Resignation was MQM’s last card and it was expected since Minus-Altaf MQM’s rumors were floating around. Altaf most likely asked his ticket holders to resign fearing a revolt which is eminent but it will not have same effect if MNAs and MPAs are not among the revolting group.

It is not drama baazi. They are terrorists and warned of backlash. They can easily turn Karachi into battle filed. If rangers have to be proactive, any such terrorist activity has to be stopped before they kill people. They have already killed four policemen who were having meals in a restaurant. It will be a real test for rangers. I see bloodshed in Karachi and mqm is going to unleashed its ethnic violence to save their target killers who directly operate under AH.
Rangers should impose curfew in whole Karachi till all their terrorists are killed or apprehanded. There is absolutely no alternative if rangers want to clean Karachi once for all. People of Karachi can bear temporary inconvenience as long is Karachi is free from terrorism. laanat hay us fauji general ko jis ne yeh ha…mi party paida ki.

I can not believe , you have written this all , Good or Bad , MQM is still genuine representative of absolute majority of Karachi , People of Karachi are happy with decrease of target killing & other crimes but they are still with MQM & Altaf . Pakistan is not a country or nation which could have any other claim of its unity except will of the people and that is only possible through democracy , Think a little again .

Genuine reps resolve their voters’ issues inside assemblies, not run away from the given job. They themselves have decided not to be the representatives of their people so that should be accepted.
Thats exactly why i’m saying that we need the legislation against those who do nothing but resign so as to drop this drama once and for all. I can guarantee nobody will ever think about it.

I think you have no idea how they can behave outside of assemblies. Their resignation is beginning of yet starting of another bloody wars in Karachi and perhaps in other urban areas of Sindh, looking at their past history. Unless Rangers are proactive, there will be a huge problem in Karachi. They can shut down Karachi and hence Pakistan.

It is MQM’s last attempt to stop the Karachi operation… this operation have not only damaged the MQM in Karachi but at the international levels as well… the world witnessed worst crime rate / law & order situation in Karachi prior to this operation and now US/UK are saying that due to operations against the criminal mafias of Karachi, which was not only MQM but have biggest market share in it.
The only way operation can be stopped now is to create situation of 1992… where the federal govt had to bow to MQM calling back the operation because of the political reasons.. these resignations are attempt to bring Pakistan to that… but i guess MQM have miss-calculated the scenario… they should know that army/establishment have a new doctrine now.. they are going to get rid of all the menace.. and MQM no matter how they play it… are going to be a history lesson… along with ST, TTP, SSP, LeJ… and last not least, news is LeT is “Under Process” now a days… so the writing is on the wall… this dramay bazi won’t change it..
