lets say it was true, then why BOTH major parties failed to ban MQM as anti state party? WHY Nawaz Sharief did not hang Altaf Hussain? (Don’t say coz he was sitting in London) if the claim is true then atleast he could have MQM banned for ever. I wish he had the guts to do that, since only because of their hunger of power we still see MQM around. Since he didn’t do it, this claim is just like hijaking case filed by Musharaf against Nawaz Sharief.

why don’t you ask this question to those who blame army generals for every bad deed in Pakistan! are we forgetting ISI’s role in Pakistani politics? and who controls ISI?

Why dont you start blaming the MQM first, I have never held back against anyone, be it Zardari or Nawaz Sharif. You guys on the other hand who are closet supporters just focus on the foes of the MQM.

Isn’t that just a claim made on internet by some1 who CLAIMS that his vote was casted! IT doesn’t PROVE that his vote was ACTUALLY casted. can YOU PROVE it if he is telling the truth? He might be bragging about it.

I am talking about mostar, who we all know is an MQM supporter. He is usually pretty accurate credible and said that his vote was casted by the MQM without having to go to the elections. I also know this from my own familymembers in KArachi too. This is how MQM casts it votes.

BUT I take his words. As for “GHOST VILLAGES” do a google search about PML & PPP candidates CLAIMING “GHOST VOTER LISTS” in various parts of the country in 1993, 1997 elections. It happens in every election there, cases are filed and if party wins the lossing candidate also looses the case. Although it never makes to mainstream ARTICLES.

Why dont you post them then, or find a credible guppy here whose vote was casted by a ‘ghost’. The only videos I found on youtube were those of MQM rigging elections This should be enough to clarify as to what their votebank is based on.

In the end, no matter how hard you try, the MQM is nothing but a mafia party, with a militant past, that runs on ethnic lines.

According to Occam's razor principle, all things being equal, the simplest explanation tends to be the right one.

MQM overwhemly won Karachi & Hyderabad, before the operation & after the operation.
In 1993 election, which they boycotted, the turnout was unblieveably low.
We see big crowd in their political rallies.

so what is the simplest explanation?

but it was army, not mqm, controlling the city in 1993.
