Re: MQM Headquaters is symbol of religious tolerence and harmony
One question always bothered me. Those who came from Khokhrapar in 1947 and onwards were refugees they may call themselves as MQM but why the whole generation born in Pakistan after 1947 call themselves as MQM? Why can’t they call themselves as Punjabis, Sindhis, Baluchis or Pakhtoons were they are actually born? If MQM consider themselves as separate and superior community then why not MQM created in India where they originally belonged to?
FARID
and a this logic of yours raises another question
Why the generation of Balochis, Punjabis and Pakhtoons which was born in Sindh, dont identify themselves as SINDHI? When i was in Karachi, I had lots of friends who were born in Karachi but used to identify themselves as Punjabis (not that I have any problem with that, but your question gives way to this question of mine) :)
