MQM never had control of Lyari. So this is a ridiculous assertion.
And if this is merely a turf war between PPP’s Lyari gangsters and MQM then why are traders supporting MQM’s demand for army operation to stop extortion and killings based on it?

Errrrrr, where did I mention “Lyari”? Businessmen and everyone else is hoping that the operation will be carried out against all criminals which then includes MQM, they did not ask for army operation against everyone except MQM, you need to stop living in lala land.
