..yes … BTW …for Pakistanis … Money laundering is not a serious offence ..[Hawala shawala ta hoonda hi rehenda hey ] .. but for British it is .. hence its a face saving for MQM …
Tables have turned … MQM was a Big Investor in UK … now its place has been taken by NS …who is allegedly the third biggest private investor of UK …
…and one question why they are not arresting Altaf …?? some one said … because it will cost money … his medical bill runs into thousands of pounds per day… which His Majesty is not willing to bear..

As a British citizen living in Britain, the government is already paying all of his medical bills.

He has private medical insurance. His last medical procedure was at a private hospital - courtesy of his bhatta victims.

It is surprising no protests, no burning of vehicles, closing of shops and no closing of Karachi. Really bad times have fallen on mqm. It is called 'mukafat-e-amal. Allah ke yahan dher hay andher nahin. It is high time that mqm should be disbanded and form a new party for the so called rights muhajir or declare themselves as Sindhis and merge with the land of peaceful Sindh. In doing so they will be winners not the losers.

Anwar was taken into custody over terrorism charges
LONDON (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Mohammed Anwar arrested on suspicion of moneylaundering has been released on bail until mid-July, Dunya News reported.
London Metropolitan Police’s counter terrorism squad had earlier taken MQM leader into custody on money laundering charges. The police searched Anwar’s house for over thirteen hours and seized key documents, computer, mobile phones and passport.
Anwar had been transferred to the police station for investigation because “the links pointed towards Anwar”. MQM leader continues to face the charges and has only been released on bail.
Meanwhile, MQM has decided to send Barrister Farogh Nasim to London to offer legal support to the accused leader.
Five persons from MQM including its chief Altaf Hussain have previously been arrested on the same charge and were released on bail.

MQM has obviously nothing to do with money laundering. This arrest is voluntary and just an expression of solidarity with Ayyan Ali.

I know this man was named one of the potential successors of Altaf Hussain, but now that he got arrested, any news on MQM disowning him?
