I am still trying to figure out what is the issue of the thread? Is the question, why there are Ahmadis in Israeli Army?
I didn’t know they were until I read the article. So obviously, I tried to go to the source by searching for a book called “Israel: A profile” Googling it doesn’t come up with any credible hits.
Then I tried “Israel A profile I.T Naomi” it returns 5 hits, and guess what, one of the links is to this very thread.
So, before I even go on to answer if/why there are Ahmadis serving in Israeli armed forces, I want to know if you have checked out if Dr Shahid Qureshi isn’t making stuff up? If he isn’t, do you know who is this “respected Jewish Professor I.T Naomi.”?
I did however find a book called, “Israel, A Profile by Israel T. Naamani” which is only being sold as a used copy version.
Also, I believe that if you want peace in Pakistan, you want to give peace to Ahmadiyya community. Just like the article quotes a “senior Qadiyani leader” (whatever that title means) Not because it’s the Ahmadis causing all the havoc, it’s because whoever can bring peace by protecting the rights of the most persecuted community in Pakistan will definetly bring peace to the rest of the country. It’s kinda like saying if you want to bring prosperity to the world, bring peace and prosparity to Africa, because we know if Africans are getting two square meals and day without any wars, the rest of the world sure will be.
