MPA KILLED IN kARACHI

One MPA of Sindh Raza Haider is killed just few minutes ago in Karachi.
Dirty hands behind this dirty play.
This is their traditional way to split the nation.
In par Khudai ki mar ho.
They can do any thing for their dirty purposes.
Now MQM should blame ANP or government
and you will see blood and fire in our Pak land,

Re: MPA KILLED IN kARACHI

This is going on in karachi for the past many days, so I dont find any thing new in this...every day 10-12 people are being killed...all are target killings!!!

Re: MPA KILLED IN kARACHI

No this has been going on for the past several months. The CM of sindh himself admitted that more than 700+ people have been killed in target killings, sectarian and ethnic violence since january 2010.

Re: MPA KILLED IN kARACHI

yeah, MQM MPA killed in Nazimabad, and right after he got shot, immediately riots started in Karachi and Hydrabad.

since that incident this evening, 23 other died, 73 injured, 20+ vehicles burnt, several shops and petrol pumps also burnt, all this in just 6-7 hours only in karachi

Re: MPA KILLED IN kARACHI

Army should be moved in as quickly as possible to impose a curfew otherwise lot of innocent people will be killed.

Re: MPA KILLED IN kARACHI

death count reached 30 in karachi, after the incident from 6pm to 1am

Re: MPA KILLED IN kARACHI

Ya Allah reham ...

Karachi is known for getting disturbed within minutes ...

Are you suggesting that there should be another 1992 type operation to clear the mess in karachi.

Re: MPA KILLED IN kARACHI

Its been confirmed that 30 innocent ppl lost their lives and more than 90 are injured ...

GEO has also reported that a phone call has been recorded where the discussion was for having a couple of suicide blast in tmw funeral of the deceased MPA of MQM ...

Allah Pak sab ko apni ammaan mein rakhay, Aameen !

GEO just following MQM propaganda about 'Talibanisation' of Karachi.

This is the MQM fighting others for more control of crime in Karachi.

Re: MPA KILLED IN kARACHI

Its obvious its an outside hand that is involved in these killings. Most likely Taliban but its really sad to see the financial center and the biggest city Pakistan under turmoil.

Re: MPA KILLED IN kARACHI

the aim to fuel up fire by killing a MPA of MQM, and they know what kind of reaction might be happened. sad thing is that he killed during wadhu inside a mosque.

Allah Tallah ham sab pe apna khas fazal farmaey. Ameen

Its interesting that Geo follows MQM propaganda, PML-N propaganda but never PPP propaganda :hmmm:

Re: MPA KILLED IN kARACHI

^ our media has become a cheap propaganda machine on rental, or should i say it has always been like that, whoever pays or threatens better, gets the service. if its geo, and something is related to KHI, most of the time it follows MQM propaganda, and shows statements and opinion of MQM as "NEWS", sidelining everyone else in the city. after all most of their headquarters are situated in karachi and they want to remain in business

yeah taliban without darhi and pagri

Death toll has now reached 37 following the death of MQM MPA… whoever is responsible for all this turmoil must be dealt with iron hands. Karachi is a hostage to mafia like criminal groups who use politics and ethnic divide to carry out their criminalities. It’s a pity that main stream population support these criminals on mohajir or pushtun ethnic affiliations and innocent people get killed due to these gang wars.

**Toll from Karachi violence at 37; nearly 100 hurt**

KARACHI: The death toll from recent spate of violence in Karachi has risen to thirty-seven while more than 100 have been wounded, according to agencies, following the killing of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Raza Haider in the Nazimabad area on Monday evening.

Police put the death toll at 33 as violent incidents jolted the metropolitan city after the killing of the MPA, who was also a senior Muttahida leader. There were fears that the death toll could rise.

According to police surgeon Hamid Priyar, over 30 people were killed in the recent spate of targeted killings. He said that by 10 am Tuesday morning, they had received 13 bodies at Civil Hospital Karachi, 14 at Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre, five at Abbasi Shaheed and two at Qatar Hospital in Orangi town.

More than 100 people were injured in the violence. Twenty-two were shifted to the CHK, 29 to the JPMC, eight to the ASH and 11 to Qatar Hospital. About 30 vehicles, several shops, one petrol pump and many kiosks and pushcarts were also set on fire. There were also reports of violence and damage to property in interior Sindh.

Life in Karachi came to a standstill as soon as the news of the MQM leader’s killing spread. Massive traffic jams were witnessed at all the major thoroughfares of Karachi. In the ensuing violence, several vehicles were torched.

Police sources said that MPA Haider came to the Nazimabad area to console a death. Later, he went to Jamia Masjid Trust situated in Nazimabad No-2. In the meantime, armed men riding two motorcycles and a Corolla car stopped in front of the mosque.

They first killed Constable Khalid, the MPA’s guard, who was standing outside the mosque. Then they barged into the mosque and opened fire at MPA Haider, who was performing ablution. A passer-by, Arsalaan, was also injured in the attack.

Police said that the people present at the scene shifted the injured to hospital where MPA Raza Haider was pronounced dead. Hospital sources said that the deceased MPA Haider received six bullet wounds on his head, right and left arms and chest. They added that PC Khalid received two bullets while Arsalan received three bullets.

Re: MPA KILLED IN kARACHI

Death toll rises to 46 … 123 injured

The death toll from spate of violence in Karachi has risen to 46 while at least 123 wounded in the fresh violence incidents.

The mob torched dozens of vehicles, petrol pumps and shops as situation remained tense and normal life stand still in the metropolis.

Several petrol pumps were set on fire and the roads wore a deserted look. Aerial firing was also reported across the city.

On the other hand, a complete strike is being observed in several cities of interior Sindh over killing of MQM MPA Raza Haider.

All educational institutions in Karachi remained closed today and examinations have been postponed after violent incidents broke out after killing of MPA Raza Haider on Monday evening.

On the directives of Interior Minister Rehman Malik, security has beefed up and additional contingents of police and Rangers patrolling in different areas.

In Liaquatabad, unknown persons set ablaze Geo News staff van. Several vehicles also set on fire in many cities of interior Sindh.

Re: MPA KILLED IN kARACHI

very sad indeed.

MQM, ANP and most likely PPP fighting for control over city with PPP and ANP has nothing to lose!

Its so sad to see all this after relatively peaceful years in last decade.

sorry but can you please explain what "nothing to lose" means here?

if this is for control of city (i believe its bigger than that) as you put it, does it mean that ANP/PPP should not try do any political activity in MQM strong holds because they cannot digest anyone else in Karachi who could enjoy a little piece of cake (that is bhatta, dakay and other haram khori acts in karachi)??

or nothing to lose here means that no other ethnic group got their people killed in karachi? if thats the case, can you plz try naming how many pashtoons/ punjabis/ sindhis got killed in karachi since yesterday? they all are being killed, they are all poor, they are all pakistani, above everything else, they are all muslim.

all three of them are criminals, all three of them are killers, they all are sick minds using ethnic base to run their political parties. including ppp, because do not have much of a political/ social/ economical work to show in karachi at least, ppp here enjoys full support from sindhi nationalistic parties, ANP also use pashto speaking men, and MQM, well who doesn't know what MQM is all about.

karachi needs a HUGE clean up activity, irrespective of political/ethnic/religious affiliations. latoon kay bhoot batoon say nahi mantay
