Re: Moving to London
I'd like to resurrect this old thread, in hopes of getting some advice. I am looking to buy a flat in inner London, with an eye for value. If you will permit me to do so, I would like to lay out the background: I went to boarding near Windsor, and 1 of my uncles family lives in Kensington-Belgravia. Although I am currently in the states, I would like to buy a place and rent it out to City professional while I figure out whether the UK would be a good option for relocation. Even if I end up moving elsewhere, I really like London and would not mind holding on property there.
So with this in mind, I am looking for the opinions on a good 'value' 1-2 bed flat in inner London. I am well aware of the high costs of property, so I am looking for a good price/value ratio. Is there a particular district that would have that? An up and coming location perhaps not as upmarket as the surrounding areas?
Thanks!
