Take your US income. Divide by 5 and convert to Rupees. That what you will need for a similar lifestyle.

For example, if you earn $90,000 per year in the US, Then $18,000 per year i.e. Rs 1.5 lakhs per month will give you the same lifestyle.

This is just a rule of thumb but a good one.
