Movies from 80s and 90s

There’s something special about the movies from 80s and early 90s…don’t really know what but may be it’s just nostalgia and memories attached to these movies?

I’ve been collecting dvds of some movies I really like and would like to show my kids, from amazon…please add more names to the list. And please don’t move this thread.

How come I haven't seen short circuit ..

Re: Movies from 80s and 90s

You should now, then. There's a 2nd part too but I haven't watched it yet.

Yeah is looks like my kind or movie.

Re: Movies from 80s and 90s

Yeah they're awesome, but not kid friendly :p

Home Alone like WD said would be fun for them.

Have you introduced them to anything like Laurel and Hardy? Good clean slapstick fun.

How about Raiders of the Lost Ark trilogy (maybe they are too young for that)

ET!

Lion King

Honey I Shrunk the Kids

The Karate Kid (80's one)

Free Wily

Casper

Anyone remembers a movie in which Jim Carrey invents a spray that makes animal dung disappear? I think Rachel Weisz was in it too.

Re: Movies from 80s and 90s

Braveheart

Lethal weapon franchise

Rocky

Die hard franchise

Re: Movies from 80s and 90s

^I want to see Die Hard 1,2,3 and 4 again. Bruce Willisssssssssssssssssssssss :hayaa:

Re: Movies from 80s and 90s

I watched them all recently.

Coming back to the topic, how about the recently released animated movies like Madagascar, Up, How to train your dragon, Kung Fu Panda etc?

Re: Movies from 80s and 90s

Oh they watch those all the time. :vivo:

Btw I gave the Madagascar dvd away coz of one of the scenes with Gloria the rhino in it. I found it utterly rude…especially when she says, “alright boys! fun is over”.
