lol :D That is why I didn't suggest the movie "Tangled" because it has a romantic theme, nothing vulgar but no real lesson for kids to take away from it either... At least from Madagascar they can learn about friendship, home, animals etc.

Yeah...but they're growing up now so they have stared to get adult jokes. Madagascar has lots of hidden jokes meant for adult viewers.
Have you seen Brave? I loved it and so did my kids as they are in love with Scottish everything.
Another good one is "Aliens in the attic".
Classic animated movie from 90s (late 90s) would be A Bug's Life.
