*^^ i m going to assume something abt u n ur family...frm the information u provided above....they travel to America like its nothing---i m assuming frm this that u guys are mA well of.
and if yes thn that one of the reason u love pakistan so much. start living a poor persons life over there and thn talk. *
^i didn't start that...u mention the poverty of US so i wanted to knw what the poverty line in Pakistan--just wanted to knw.
If i born with so called silver/golden spoon then its because my dad/mom/dadda/pardadaa work hard for it. We didn't forget our past, dad always give one example which i would like to quote here.
.."ik waqt aesa bi tha.. jub ghar mein sirf half kg subha milk ata tha ..aur peeney waley logoon ki tadad 10 sey zaida thi.. milk mein mazeed pani milana parta tha"..
.."ik waqt the jub meat ki shaqal bi mahiyoon nazer nahi atin thein" ...
my the point is .. i didn't forget what i was ..what my family was... i don't have any kind a complex.. for anything ..simple is that .. !
Somebody once told me to live a good life in pakistan, u need to have money....
The rich are very rich and the poor are very poor
Personal assumptions... what do you think..170 million population is doing what their? You are in west..i am too. I am proud of my country/culture/my identity...
If you don't like it.. move on.. you don't have any right to say anything to my country... End result: Let live, let us live !
And you know the most wierd thing is, the gap between the rich and the poor is widening day by day and God knows where will it stop!
Yes their are problems in Pakistan.. what do you think about the gap between poor & rich in America. Get the figures first.then talk.. 1% of American people own control 75% of resources ...
What do you think flow of cheap credit fill the gap between rich & poor? Look at the broader picture !..
Its all about love for your country, if Abraham Lincoln runaway after seeing too much problems, then you and me won't be sitting here. Pakistan is very young country compare to US/Europe. 60 years hardly.. give us some time !
Well I suppose u do have a point abt pakistan being a young country,
lets just hope and pray the good people of pakistan over take the bad people and make it a better place...:)
Re: Motives for Leaving Pakistan--split from Proud Pakistani
Firenze I think u need to go and have some tanda tango, and calm down m8. This is a discussion forum and we are having a discussion. If u r finding this discussion or my posts insulting then either dont take part or ignore them totally and mov on...
U lov Pakistan tht's great, but u knw. The way u go about showing ur lov for ur country in totally wrong. Instead of arguing and being rude and obnoxious to nearly every poster, why dont ya tlk to them in a civilised manner, and have a healthy conversation...

Again you are assuming, how did you know that parents send me happily .. happily ?
I got call from Ami/Daddy every single day.. when i am coming back. Before my point was i am going for education .. but now i am doing job. So.. anyway this is not even an issue. I know what is American Culture, and i know what is my Culture. Isn't that not enough?
