what is the nicest thing you’ve ever gotten your mom for mother’s day?
i’ve opened a similar thread in the parenting section but since there is more traffic here and also this section needs some serious lightening up…here we are

The year I was getting married....I had a group picture taken with my sisters,and gave it to Ammi.We are all wearing the same type of suits,but in different colours.She says that is the nicest pressie ever :)

Unfortunately we usually give my mother gift cards.. but last year my daughter was about 2 months or so and we went out to eat, so my hubby got a really sweet card and haad her scribble her name and gave me choclates and a flower with it.. I don't know why it felt such an emotional gift maybe because it was my first one :)..

Last year I had prototype send my mom and MIL a gul ahmed suit + flowers + cake + card in Pakistan.

I alwayz get puzzled for the gift to be given to my mom on this day. Again this year, its just 4 days away and i've no idea what will give her!! :(
Being a mom I can tell you, just a hug and the words "I love you mom, thanks for being my mother" are 100 times better than any flowers, cards, gifts, even diamonds. I think I'm gonna go cry now :(

Awee.. You are really a true mom, cuz my mom is emotional same way as well.
But I think moms are so great, they should be given a beautiful gift as well, other than sweet words. Now comeon, suggest me a good gift please before I end up giving her any ordinary one.

I am thinking of getting her big huge sunflowers. I know they will look realllyyy pretty in her room :p.

We got our mom a really nice handbag this year, flowers and took her out for dinner…she will never buy anything expensive for herself.
