Language is a very powerful tool, Pakistan got divided in the first place due to language and culture although the religion of both wings was the same.

So dividing criteria keeps on changing. First it was religion and just after 24 years, it was language and culture. The division didn't happened just because of different cultures and languages ( as both India and Pakistan still have communities with different languages and cultures), the division resulted because a group thought that their culture and language is not being respected.

This shows how important Mother tongue becomes in the history of nations.

Really? I thought it’s the language of Sindhi memons,we had Sindhi memon neighbor they used to speak like this.

asthaan [like teerth asthaan] means PLACE not just thaan...like in Urdu we say sitaaN...like Pakistan, AfGhanistan etc.
