How can U apply the same logic there when the premise is that people converted to something that was better. So where is the “better” in Islam if it is just “old wine in new bottle” esp since Islam is supposed to be an egalitarian religion. It is a waste of conversion and similar to cheating people by not keeping the promises. Now buddhism really does not have a caste system atleast as far as I know. So it is a better religion for that.

I’ll repeat again, there is no caste system in Islam. The caste system being followed in Punjab and Sindh (nothing of the sort in KP and balochistan) is due to the time they have lived with Hindus.
