Re: most of my cousins got married at 16!!
Or may be its the other way around which is "Rich people are educated because they're rich not because their education made them rich".

Re: most of my cousins got married at 16!!
but i agree...if you plan to be an employee with a monthly salary then its the way to go.
Re: most of my cousins got married at 16!!
not to insult anyone...but when girls are married at 15/16 we kind of assume they were bad or they were going to do something bad so their parents had to think fast, cuz that's just too young. I've seen people who marry at a more normal age (22-23) tend to have happier marriages but actually in general everyone who does dua for themselves tend to be happier but if your married at 15, then you haven't really had a chance to figure out wat you want...
I STRONGLY BELIEVE if parents get their kids married off at 15/16 - then parents CONSIDER it to be a “practice” marriage
… then you are free when you turn 23 and go and find your own pard-nar! whatch ya all say?
“practice marriage” will very much be in fashion then!
just imagine! i can call my 10 yr marriage - a “practice” marriage - LOL - I am sure I will be a “better” partner the second time around - if hubby wants to let me go ![]()
Re: most of my cousins got married at 16!!
thing is, most people get married at 15/16 cos the OTHER partner has a british/american passport...and the 15/16 yr old is normally from pakistan,. and her fmaily would do ANYTHING ( sell the girl even) to get her/their family name into the the uk/usa...
i know cos thats why half my cousins ages 15/16 from pak got married to men in the uk/usa..
but its not their fault entirely..as men from uk/usa WANT to marry girls bck home..my cousin was 24 he married a 15 yr old back home...we were disgusted with him until she came over here...shes like 5ft 10 all muscly and broad and looks 28 not 15......he actually looked YOUNGER THAN HER...!!!
Re: most of my cousins got married at 16!!
and shes a very good obedient wife.....while my friend whose 25 got married, everytime her hsband askd her to do something she was wtf do it urself`...sometimes i fear i may end up like her....:{

Hareem you totally misinterpreted my post.
I did refer to western statistics.
Anyone regardless of high or low family income can get a good education in the West if they want to. As primary and secondary education is free, and University education is subsidised by the Goverment.
Infact Statistics for U.K show that the majority of University Graduates were from middle or low income families.
Therefore fact renders your above opinion utterly baseless.
And i do also belive somewhat the same is true for eastern countries like Pakistan. You do not have to be rich to get an education in Pakistan.
You should improve your knowledge.
Re: most of my cousins got married at 16!!
Amir, I think theres a bit more to the whole thing than the points you've made. The rich folk get into the very best private schools and Ivy league unis...they fall easily into their 6-figure salaries. When you're rich, it almost goes without saying...you'll go to the best uni, you'll get the very best job...just cause you're rich.
Those of us who are not rich...we need to take the hard road and work very hard for it. And thats very true. Sure low and middle class in the west all get a good education, and its free thru high school. That does not mean you can get into the best uni, nor does it mean that after uni you'll get the most promising positions in the most attractive profitable firms. HUGE difference here yeah?

It all comes down to how you take the meaning of "education" and "good education", some call passing exams proof of one's education while others don't.
The Private schooling and Elite schooling are quite different from regular schools in UK or USA and not everyone can go there to get the good education.

Yep, this is what I was trying to say. Thanks
I wont talk, ill let the facts:
Although i agree what you say is somewhat correct.
But National stats still show that on average graduates have significantly higher annual income than non-graduates.
This shows it is certainly worthwhile pursuing university level education.
And if you still recommend kids drop out by college and pursue bussiness,
then also warn them of the likelihood of them bombing in thier business which is like 90%.
Unless you are going to enter an already ruuning family biz or truly have some exceptional idea or chance that you can risk investing half your life savings on,
I suggest working towards a good education base in early life is most important.
And ofcourse you can always try bussiness after uni, if u fail atleast you have something solid and reliable to fall back onto.
What i meant was from the majority of the worlds rich people being educated, was not that they are rich because of thier education.
I tried to empahsize that they still took thier education. Then went for bizz or whatver.
Yes, and most of them are rich from bussinesses not jobs. But then again the 90% fail rate did apply to them too.
Re: most of my cousins got married at 16!!
Well you called Sir Alan Sugar an uneducated buisnessman so i don't think I'd go explaining to you about liberal arts etc. You're right, I'm wrong. Lets end the discussion here.
Well in the conventional sense of the word yes he is uneducated.
In the sense hes still forked up some degree from wherever, well thats cool.
Infact all degrees, and qualifications are based on intensive analysis of long-term behaviour of the subject.
So If someone has been practicing in the subject for a long-term i.e: 30-50 years like Sir.Alan Sugar its not a mystery they have become familiar with its characteristiscs.
However it doesnt mean everybody goes in his direction does it?
Here in California I know private and public schools have very much the same level of graduation and even success levels, so theres not much of a difference here.
