^ sometimes it is the guy who has to make the biggest sacrifices, examples when he has to pick between his wife or his mother. That can cause a lot of trouble.

yeah? mother or wife? A woman shouldn't have to force her husband to choose between her or bahu/saas. And any guy who wud still choose mother over wife shudn't be married to begin with

its a century old arguement.. why can't we solve it? I am a guy and i love my mother as much as a mother should be loved and I love my wife to be as much as wife should be loved.. everything has its own place and value.. i luv my cricket as much as it should be!!! :D

U know, sometimes it is the bahu who makes the hubby choose… i think females like that shouldnt get married either. Its a two way thing..
And even if the hubby does choose the mother over the wife, the wife shouldnt get into a huff and puff. Be rationale, sometimes it hard to say no to parents.. we all have parents and we know how hard it can be..

Though its not always that women r fighting over their son/husband like this----there are cases where the mother in law would be totally supportive of the bahu and will take her side or the bahu would support her MIL. So it all depends on both parties.

The best way for a guy to be faithful to both his mother and wife is NOT to live in the same house. God I hate guys who want to live in their parents house, I mean come on if he still lives at home he is not a real MAN!

Basically they both getting married and having children are two very big decisions in a persons life and they both impact a person very much. Although i think they are two different changes.. i mean yes the decision of getting married is a big change for both male and female. and if they want the marriage to work not only will the woman sacrifice but also the man will have to do the same. and once you have a good stable, loving relationship then a couple should decide to have children because that is another big change which both the woman and man will have to make together !! and after having children the biggest challenge comes raising them !!
