Back in university days, i used to tutor high school and college kids, algebra, calculus, physics.
Sometimes i used to do it from home as well, had my own schedule and charged my own fees ($10 /hr). The rate ofcourse was higher for those that needed special attention. One of my favorite part was teaching them that 2x - 5x = -3x and not 3x. I had them write notes and cheet sheats, while they all wondered why their professor wasnt as good in explaining. It was the graviest job i had.
I tried that once at another job during ramadan, and I sort of got in to trouble for that. :(
But this job now is a different story. Last time I was work I studied some stuff for personal reasons, went for a two hour lunch, then I watched two movies on the computer and then I posted on GS and then took a nap and then woke up and came home all fresh and ready for another 8 hours of life.
Hey, has anyone looked into or heard of "Secret Shoppers"?? Its supposedly a marketing thing, stores are rated by these secret shoppers, if you are accepted, they give you money, tell you what stores to go to and you just go shop,. You get to keep everything you buy and have to fill out and send in these detailed reports on shopping in that particular store. To me, crass new yawka that I am, it sounds like a crock but then again....not sure. anyone else have comments, opinions, experience with companies like this?
