to Teggy & Zobia, here, OT’s refer to Operation Theatre… and when we go up there to assist in the proper deposition of Iodine-125 seeds in prostate cancer patients, we are constantly fluor-ing (fluoroscopy) then to see that the seed is in fact inserted into the right position, and the radiation (i.e. xray) source is right above the patient, and all of us stand around so obviosuly we wud get a small dose too so that is why we wear lead lined aprons (as theyr’e called)
