Re: morning AFTER the wedding
well we are planning to stay at a hotel. so how does that work. dont we have to check out (the valima night will be at his house) by a noon or something. and what about the breakfast that the girls family is suppose to bring the next day?
i m a morning person (give me coffee n i will be up n runing 6am) but he is NOT. :)

Re: morning AFTER the wedding
i am getting married in march...i also have the same tension..but i wont be saying at a hotel..though i want to..but cant as the famly is settled in karachi..and i will be going to my hubbys place...God i do want to wakeup lateeeee
I just got married over the holidays....we also stayed in a hotel the first night and I booked the hotel for an extra night as well....so we woke up in the morning and went down for breakfast, after that we went up to get ready and then made our way to my parents house....had a nice family lunch, then I dropped my wife at her parents house, went back home...chilled with my friends for a bit...then went back to pick her up, spent an hour or so at her parents, then she and I went out for a quiet dinner just her and me...it was fun....
We stayed in the hotel again for the 2nd night...then the following morning we went to my house....and that night we had our valima..
Staying at the hotel for 2 nights was cool...we got our own space and were able to relax, hang out....

Re: morning AFTER the wedding
For those who will be staying at their in laws place, in laws will not usually wake you up until the bride's family brings the breakfast. Just tell your family to bring breakfast at 11.
Re: morning AFTER the wedding
11 is early for me :( lol I prefer Lunch!
Re: morning AFTER the wedding
lol funny thread
we will cross the bride when we come to it
Re: morning AFTER the wedding
I guess those couples who are lucky enough to go to a hotel it's much easier and tension free..
Wow! I am just imagining how it would be to go straight to his house after rukhsati.
Re: morning AFTER the wedding
Well I think just to save yourself of any embarassment , I would say both hubby and wife wake up around 9ish, get ready and spend some time with the rest of the family members …
I know its tiring but still … I remember I woke up , got ready and had breakfast with my FIL and MIL … and then some family members came and introduced themselves to me … and by 10:00 my mamo arrived with nasta .. and i had nasta yet again
…
and totally gelled with the family … and then went off to the salon for the valima .
Re: morning AFTER the wedding
We stayed at a hotel, PILs were also there but they didnt wake us up. MIL tried to wake up but she was embarassed. My parents came around noonish for the breakfast thing and both sets woke us up together. Showered, got ready etc and both families went out for lunch (so no breakfast). It totally depends on the family you are marrying into and whether you are staying at a hotel or at home.
