Correction. The figures are coming from the reporter - as reported by him/her.
By the way: you believe indian officials readily here when there is good possibility that the number was mis-reported OR number was correct but reported out-of-context.
But you did not believe them initially even when photographs (!) of Ajmal Kasab were shown on national television.
I think I know where you are coming from.
One more reason to feel blessed that my ancestors did not convert :)
