lol.. the only smell that I remember back from Pakistan is Dettol- the house cleaning lady uses it day and night to do pocha, and the smell never leaves.
dettol smell is one stubborn smell...
There used to be another thing they used diluted in water to clean the floors.....the name escapes my mind right now...I think it was 'Finis'...not sure...
it used to come in a yellow canister thing...and the cleaning lady used to call it it "phenyl"..it had a horrible smell..which used to kinda linger on for a while...
my ammi used to have them use it once in a while....
then later on it started to come in a scented fragrance form...that one was actually not that bad...
