you know its for easy cleaning right? then when you scale it left to right and back , the kachra and the hair go to the corners of the room , rather then sticking to the mop
any alternatives ? please no body tell me , pocha lagao … I hate pocha
Sara , pocha is like any random cloth , you just soak it and sit and clean the floor with it , bit by bit …it kills the legs and the back , you know like they do it in pakistan ..
Swiffer sounds good , actually I was looking at it one day and was thinking , is it easy to clean it? or do we have to spend money on getting new cleaner sheet every few weeks/months when the old ones gone
I scrub the floors using the kitchen paper towel but then I only have tiles in the kitchen and bathroom so it works out well.. I can't imagine doing that in the whole apartment. :$
I guess its similar to pocha.. the only difference is I doit with my feet rather than hands... yes I literally dance around kitchen and bathroom while chit chatting on phone. :D
Swiffer uses disposable pads that are supposed to be replaced every time u use it. but im sure most people use them at least 2-3 times (depending on how heavy the cleaning was and how often u use it).
the pads cost about $5-8 USD for a box of 15 so I dont think thats very expensive?
Sara , i am trying to avoid any mops or cleaning equipment where i might have to use disposable stuff … Like i am a clean freak … and really have to clean almost two to three times a day , even if we spend £10 , that does make a good amount , hai na …
so , I guess we will have to look at other options
GTG , you dance around the kitchen yeah i like that
Its even more fun when you are talking to a guppan on phone discussing the new posts on GS.. you HAVE to try it and trust me that would be a good work out too :D
I always vaccum before mopping, so there is no dust or hair left on the ground....but I dont mop 2-3 times a day like you, so maybe vaccuming each time is not a good idea for you!
I have a khala who is clean freak..she has her floors mopped upto 7 times a day..no exaggeration..but she is in pak and has maids..each and every corner of her house is sparkling clean ALL the time..
GTG , I hardly make any mess , but my husband ..toba toba … .. .actually we have floor boards downstairs , so he take the shoes everywhere and I run after him with a mop
After sweeping the floor, get on your knees and mop the floor with Pinesol that has been diluted in a bucket of water and a nice large mop cloth. That's the best way to get a sparkly clean floor trust me!
