Ingredients
Moong Daal and Masoor dal
Turmeric Powder , red chilli powder and garam masala
Oil
Clarified Butter
Cumin Seeds
Ginger, very finely chopped
Green Chillies slit in the middle
Onions, finely sliced
Salt to taste
Fresh Coriander, finely chopped, to garnish
For Bhagaar (Turka)
oil or ghee
cloves ( I say 2 will do ) of finely chopped garlic
Zeera
Preparation:
Wash daal mixture in a few changes of water, until the water runs clear. Then leave it to soak in cold water for about 10 to 15 minutes…
Drain the daal and put it in the cooking pot with water salt, Turmeric Powder , red chilli powder and little bit of garam Masala …. cook for 20 to 30
Heat oil and ghee in a pan and splutter cumin seeds, then put ginger, green chillies and onion. When the onion is soft and cooked, put the daal and adjust salt.
Add a cup or two of water so that the yoke is not too thin nor too thick. Chop fresh coriander leaves and add before serving.
You can also Sprinkle garam masala over it. If ya like I mean ..
I don’t do them it with tomatoes but if ya like ya can :D

I made this two days before by new way and it tastes good.
Take 3/4 cup masoor daal and 1/4 cup moond daal soak wash and boil with turmeric, chilli powder and little bit ginger garlic paste.
When done off the flame make appropriate thickness by adding some water if needed, salt to taste then make baghar by putting zeera, curry patta, one sliced garlic, sliced onions, red whole chillies and one chopped tomato in hot oil cook for few minutes until u feel aroma of baghar, then put this in daal, sprinkle chopped cilantro and green chillies on it and put on dum for 5 minutes.
