Yes moms do a lot for us but share the one thing which your mom did for you that comes across your mind from time to time and your heart just melts!
Mine was just yesterday. My dad and i got into a big fight, and he left my apartment yelling at me. She found out but my phone was dead so she could not get in contact with me. After an entire day of making rounds at the hospital, she drove all the way to my apartment to see if i was okay. She gave me the biggest hug and kisses all over my face, and said “I just wanted to see you smiling and make sure you were okay!”
You don’t think about it at the time, but you reflect back and when you think how much parents do for us, it is just heart wrenching and overwhelms you:wub:

Yesterday as I was driving home from work I was thinking about how hungry I was and perhaps I should pick up a takeaway or should I be healthy and as I opened the door to the house, the smell of pilau and lamb salan came wafting towards me. I ran straight to mum and kissed her face all over.... Boy am i gonna miss her cooking... Mums are truly the best...
I was never blessed with the opportunity to get to know my Mother. She passed away 2 weeks before my 5th birthday. My s.mum however was the kindest soul on earth! She was like my best friend (hafiz of quran ma-shallah). She also passed away 4 yrs ago. Guys cherish every moment with your mother's...noone can take their place. Unfortunately when they pass away noone else seems to care at all.
My dad's that person for me. My mum and i argue a lot hehe... but then she always comes and gives me the biggest hugs and makes me whatever i wanna eat :D
Mums are truly the best no-one will ever do for you what your mum has done/does for you. It's so true once your mum has left this world then you will realise how she was THE BEST no one gives a damn once mums are gone.

I realised my mother's worth more after I got married ! She is my best friend always there for me in all my problems despite the fact she is very ill and she has been suffering from lungs problem since past 8 years but when it comes to me , she does everything forgetting abt her sickness. I love my mom !
Awww what a sweet thread. I love my mother more than life itself. My life would not be worth living without her. She means EVERYTHING to me. There is not a single soul on the planet that I have or will ever love more than her...not even my own kids (although she says I will change my mind when I have them...who knows).
What does she do for me? Everything. She does so much I can't even list it here. She was a single mom and raised me alone. She is the strongest person I've ever known. I don't know a single person who has endured as many hardships as she has and has still remained strong and kept their sanity and faith. She NEVER received any love from her family, but gave me all the love in the world. I'm getting teary eyed...so I'm gonna stop now. sigh what an emotional but sweet thread.

often times we hate our moms during teenage years…and some even into adulthood until we have kids of our own. Then we realize the struggles they went through.
Im glad I realized early on just how special my mom is.
